CVE-2022-50857 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rapidio: rio: fix possible name leak in rio_register_mport() If device_register() returns error, the name allocated by dev_set_name() need be freed. It should use put_device() to give up the reference in the error path, so that the name can be freed in kobject_cleanup(), and list_del() is called to delete the port from rio_mports.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: igb: clean up in all error paths when enabling SR-IOV After commit 50f303496d92 ("igb: Enable SR-IOV after reinit"), removing the igb module could hang or crash (depending on the machine) when the module has been loaded with the max_vfs parameter set to some value != 0. Further debugging showed that igb_enable_sriov()'s call to pci_enable_sriov() is failing, because dev->is_physfn is 0 on 82580. Prior to commit 50f303496d92 ("igb: Enable SR-IOV after reinit"), igb_enable_sriov() jumped into the "err_out" cleanup branch. After this commit it only returned the error code. So the cleanup didn't take place, and the incorrect VF setup in the igb_adapter structure fooled the igb driver into assuming that VFs have been set up where no VF actually existed. Fix this problem by cleaning up again if pci_enable_sriov() fails.
CVE-2022-50876 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A

CVE-2023-53723 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: disable sdma ecc irq only when sdma RAS is enabled in suspend sdma_v4_0_ip is shared on a few asics, but in sdma_v4_0_hw_fini, driver unconditionally disables ecc_irq which is only enabled on those asics enabling sdma ecc. CVE-2022-50582 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: core: Prevent integer underflow By using a ratio of delay to poll_enabled_time that is not integer time_remaining underflows and does not exit the loop as expected. As delay could be derived from DT and poll_enabled_time is defined in the driver this can easily happen. Use a signed iterator to make sure that the loop exits once the remaining time is negative.

Then at the BUG_ON() location, we are trying to writeback the repaired sectors back the failed device. The check looks like this: ret = btrfs_map_block(fs_info, BTRFS_MAP_WRITE, logical, &map_length, &bioc, mirror_num); if (ret) goto out_counter_dec; BUG_ON(mirror_num != bioc->mirror_num); But inside btrfs_map_block(), we can modify bioc->mirror_num especially for dev-replace: if (dev_replace_is_ongoing && mirror_num == map->num_stripes + 1 && !need_full_stripe(op) && dev_replace->tgtdev != NULL) { ret = get_extra_mirror_from_replace(fs_info, logical, *length, dev_replace->srcdev->devid, &mirror_num, &physical_to_patch_in_first_stripe); patch_the_first_stripe_for_dev_replace = 1; } Thus if we're repairing the replace target device, we're going to trigger that BUG_ON(). But in reality, the read failure from the replace target device may be that, our replace hasn't reached the range we're reading, thus we're reading garbage, but with replace running, the range would be properly filled later. Thus in that case, we don't need to do anything but let the replace routine to handle it. [FIX] Instead of a BUG_ON(), just skip the repair if we're repairing the device replace target device.

CVE-2025-68186 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Do not warn in ring_buffer_map_get_reader() when reader catches up The function ring_buffer_map_get_reader() is a bit more strict than the other get reader functions, and except for certain situations the rb_get_reader_page() should not return NULL. If it does, it triggers a warning. This warning was triggering but after looking at why, it was because another acceptable situation was happening and it wasn't checked for. If the reader catches up to the writer and there's still data to be read on the reader page, then the rb_get_reader_page() will return NULL as there's no new page to get. In this situation, the reader page should not be updated and no warning should trigger.
CVE-2025-68329 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix WARN_ON in tracing_buffers_mmap_close for split VMAs When a VMA is split (e.g., by partial munmap or MAP_FIXED), the kernel calls vm_ops->close on each portion. For trace buffer mappings, this results in ring_buffer_unmap() being called multiple times while ring_buffer_map() was only called once. This causes ring_buffer_unmap() to return -ENODEV on subsequent calls because user_mapped is already 0, triggering a WARN_ON. Trace buffer mappings cannot support partial mappings because the ring buffer structure requires the complete buffer including the meta page. Fix this by adding a may_split callback that returns -EINVAL to prevent VMA splits entirely.
CVE-2023-53715 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: cfg80211: Pass the PMK in binary instead of hex Apparently the hex passphrase mechanism does not work on newer chips/firmware (e.g. BCM4387). It seems there was a simple way of passing it in binary all along, so use that and avoid the hexification. OpenBSD has been doing it like this from the beginning, so this should work on all chips. Also clear the structure before setting the PMK. This was leaking uninitialized stack contents to the device.
CVE-2025-71196 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: stm32-usphyc: Fix off by one in probe() The "index" variable is used as an index into the usbphyc->phys[] array which has usbphyc->nphys elements. So if it is equal to usbphyc->nphys then it is one element out of bounds. The "index" comes from the device tree so it's data that we trust and it's unlikely to be wrong, however it's obviously still worth fixing the bug. Change the > to >=.
CVE-2022-50661 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: seccomp: Move copy_seccomp() to no failure path. Our syzbot instance reported memory leaks in do_seccomp() [0], similar to the report [1]. It shows that we miss freeing struct seccomp_filter and some objects included in it. We can reproduce the issue with the program below [2] which calls one seccomp() and two clone() syscalls. The first clone()d child exits earlier than its parent and sends a signal to kill it during the second clone(), more precisely before the fatal_signal_pending() test in copy_process(). When the parent receives the signal, it has to destroy the embryonic process and return -EINTR to user space. In the failure path, we have to call seccomp_filter_release() to decrement the filter's refcount. Initially, we called it in free_task() called from the failure path, but the commit 3a15fb6ed92c ("seccomp: release filter after task is fully dead") moved it to release_task() to notify user space as early as possible that the filter is no longer used. To keep the change and current seccomp refcount semantics, let's move copy_seccomp() just after the signal check and add a WARN_ON_ONCE() in free_task() for future debugging. CVE-2023-54251 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: taprio: Limit TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_SCHED_CYCLE_TIME to INT_MAX. syzkaller found zero division error [0] in div_s64_rem() called from get_cycle_time_elapsed(), where sched->cycle_time is the divisor. We have tests in parse_taprio_schedule() so that cycle_time will never be 0, and actually cycle_time is not 0 in get_cycle_time_elapsed(). The problem is that the types of divisor are different; cycle_time is s64, but the argument of div_s64_rem() is s32. syzkaller fed this input and 0x100000000 is cast to s32 to be 0. @TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_SCHED_CYCLE_TIME={0xc, 0x8, 0x100000000} We use s64 for cycle_time to cast it to ktime_t, so let's keep it and set max for cycle_time. While at it, we prevent overflow in setup_txtime() and add another test in parse_taprio_schedule() to check if cycle_time overflows. Also, we add a new tdc test case for this issue.
