Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker. Prior to 0.18.1, PostOffice.publishWill publishes a client-controlled Last Will message through publish2Subscribers without invoking the authorizator.canWrite check used by normal PUBLISH paths. When anonymous access is enabled and topic ACLs restrict writes, a remote client can set an ACL-protected topic as the Last Will Topic during CONNECT and perform an abnormal client disconnect, causing the broker to inject attacker-controlled messages into a topic for which the client lacks write permission. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.1.

Keycloak provides a policy enforcer to protect applications by matching incoming web requests against defined security policies. A flaw was found where the enforcer fails to correctly normalize web addresses that contain special encoded characters, such as those representing semicolons or directory traversal segments. An authenticated user can use these encoded characters to trick the enforcer into applying a less restrictive security policy than intended, potentially gaining unauthorized access to sensitive administrative or private application endpoints.

Perses is an open-source dashboard and visualization project for observability data. From 0.43.0 until 0.54.0-rc.0, the datasource creation and unsaved datasource proxy paths authorize the caller on a Datasource or GlobalDatasource scope but do not require read permission for the separately grantable associated project or global Secret before resolving it. A low-privilege user with GlobalDatasource:create or corresponding project datasource creation rights can attach a project or global Secret that the user cannot otherwise read, point the datasource at a service controlled by the user, and cause Perses to send the decrypted secret in plaintext, bypassing project and global scope separation. This issue is fixed in version 0.54.0-rc.0.

Icinga 2 is an open source monitoring system. From 2.8 until 2.14.9, 2.15.4, and 2.16.2, certificate update JSON-RPC message handling does not validate that the sender is a trusted endpoint. An unauthenticated network attacker able to connect to TCP port 5665 can replace the node certificate and trusted CA certificate, impersonate a trusted node, and take control of the node. This issue is fixed in versions 2.14.9, 2.15.4, and 2.16.2.

Umbraco is an ASP.NET CMS. Prior to 13.15.1, 17.5.3, and 18.0.2, the Content Delivery API applies member and Public Access checks to the directly requested node but not to referenced nodes serialized through Content Picker or Multi-Node Tree Picker properties, including pickers nested in Block List, Block Grid, or Rich Text Editor blocks. When DeliveryApi:PublicAccess is enabled, an anonymous caller can retrieve a protected node's name, route, and id through an unprotected referencing node and use ?expand to retrieve full property values. When the Delivery API is instead gated by the organization-wide API key, a key holder can still bypass per-node Public Access through the same expansion path. The same RequestContextOutputExpansionStrategyV2 and ElementOnlyOutputExpansionStrategy path also bypasses allowed or disallowed content-type alias restrictions for referenced content. Direct requests for the protected node still return 401, and no integrity or availability impact is established. This issue is fixed in versions 13.15.1, 17.5.3, and 18.0.2.

Concrete CMS 8.5.3 through 9.5.2 enabled the OAuth 2.0 refresh-token grant using the unmodified upstream League grant, which issued new access tokens from a valid refresh token without re-checking the associated account's active status. A user who obtained a refresh token while active could therefore continue to mint valid access tokens after being deactivated or suspended (uIsActive=0), so deactivating an account did not revoke its API access. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:L/SC:L/SI:L/SA:L. Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 did not enforce a per-page authorization check when reordering pages from the sitemap. In the sitemap Explore dashboard controller, the send_to_top and send_to_bottom reorder tasks ran after only a generic sitemap-access check; the controller loaded the page named by the attacker-controlled cNodeID parameter and changed its display order without verifying that the current user held move or arrange permission on that specific page. Because of this, an authenticated user who could reach the sitemap but had no edit or arrange rights on a given page could still move that page and alter the site's global navigation order. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. In Concrete CMS before 9.5.3, the SEO Bulk Update Meta Tags editor did not check per-page edit permissions before saving. The saveRecord() action validated the per-page CSRF token but never called canEditPageProperties() for the target page, so a user who was granted access to the bulk SEO tool and could view (but not edit) a given page was able to change that page's meta title, meta description, and URL handle outside their edit scope, tampering with the presentation and live URLs of otherwise protected content. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 evaluated the authorization check for an Express entry submission against the entity of the posted form rather than the entity identified by the dashboard route. As a result, a user permitted to add entries to one Express object could create entries in a different Express object outside their authorization scope, potentially polluting protected datasets, triggering workflows, or injecting content into administrative processes. The dashboard submit route resolved the mutated entity from the attacker-controlled route ID while the permission check validated the independently posted form's entity, and the submission proceeded because the two entities were never compared. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 5.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.8.8 until 0.11.0, inline direct model metadata accepted client-supplied knowledge attachments without filtering them against the caller's read access. Any authenticated user who knew another user's file id could have the builtin knowledge tools return indexed chunks from that file, causing a read-only cross-user confidentiality loss while leaving knowledge-base permissions and saved workspace model validation unaffected. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.7.0 until 0.11.0, the legacy chat-completions features block trusted a client-supplied image_generation flag and did not re-check the features.image_generation permission that the direct image routes and native function-calling path enforce. An authenticated user whose image-generation permission had been revoked could still consume the operator's configured image provider through chat completions, spending API credits and provider quota and writing generated files to operator storage, without exposing provider credentials or other users' data. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

From 0.9.6 until 0.11.0, DELETE /api/v1/chats/{id} cancelled a chat's in-flight tasks before checking whether the caller could delete that chat. Any authenticated user who knew another user's chat id could abort that user's running model response, title generation, or tag generation, even though the delete was refused and no chat data was deleted, modified, or disclosed. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.5.0 until 0.11.0, the standard channel message update and delete handlers accepted any caller holding write access on the channel without checking that the caller wrote the message. Because write access is the same grant a member needs to post, any ordinary participant in a shared standard channel could rewrite or permanently delete another participant message, while group and direct message handlers enforced authorship. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.10.0 until 0.11.0, the DELETE /api/v1/folders/{id} handler in backend/open_webui/routers/folders.py allowed a user granted write access to a shared chat folder to permanently delete chats and messages belonging to the folder owner. The cascade following the authorization check is bound to the folder owner's id, but the subfolder check accepted any inherited write grant instead of requiring ownership or administrator status. A collaborator can destroy the owner's subtree or force-move chats out of it when delete_contents=false. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

The `deleteContainer` opcode (0x14/20) is processed without verifying the caller's ACL permissions, allowing any authenticated client to delete specific znodes in the data tree regardless of the ACL restrictions on the znode or its parent. This opcode is considered internal-only and the official client doesn't have API for it, but a client that can open a plain TCP session on the ZooKeeper client port (2181 by default) - with NO authentication and NO ACL permissions - can delete any empty persistent znode (including regular persistent nodes, container nodes, and TTL nodes) by issuing the raw protocol OpCode deleteContainer (20). The deleteContainer request path completely skips both the session check and the DELETE ACL check that are enforced by the regular delete (OpCode 2) path. This is an authorization bypass / ACL enforcement bug. This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper: from 3.9.0 through 3.9.5, from 3.8.0 through 3.8.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.6 or 3.8.7, which fixes the issue.

Information disclosure via SetWatches reconnect replay in Apache ZooKeeper due to missing ACL check. An attacker can discover ACL-restricted paths by registering exists-watches on non-existent paths, then reconnecting after the paths are created with restricted ACLs. Issue is caused by incomplete fix for CVE-2024-23944 (ZOOKEEPER-4799). The fix added ACL checking to WatchManager.triggerWatch(). However, DataTree.setWatches() — the SetWatches/SetWatches2 reconnect replay handler — still calls watcher.process(event) with null ACL, bypassing the check entirely. It's important to note that only the path is exposed by this vulnerability, not the data of znode, but since znode path can contain sensitive information like user name or login ID, this issue is potentially critical. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.6, 3.8.7 which fixes the issue.
