CVSS v3.1 |
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.13.1, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This requires merging a file with threads/articles into a writer. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.13.1.
pypdf is a pure-python PDF library capable of splitting, merging, cropping, and transforming the pages of PDF files. In version 2.10.5 an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This infinite loop blocks the current process and can utilize a single core of the CPU by 100%. It does not affect memory usage. That is, for example, the case if the user extracted metadata from such a malformed PDF. Versions prior to 2.10.5 throw an error, but do not hang forever. This issue was fixed with https://github.com/py-pdf/pypdf/pull/1331 which has been included in release 2.10.6. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should modify `PyPDF2/generic/_data_structures.py::read_object` to an an error throwing case. See GHSA-hm9v-vj3r-r55m for details.
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.14.1, an attacker can craft a PDF with a page content stream containing a not terminated inline image, causing an infinite loop during inline image end marker detection such as when extracting page text. This issue is fixed in version 6.14.1.
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. An attacker who uses a vulnerability present in versions 3.7.0 through 3.16.4 can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This infinite loop blocks the current process and can utilize a single core of the CPU by 100%. It does not affect memory usage. That is, for example, the case when the pypdf-user manipulates an incoming malicious PDF e.g. by merging it with another PDF or by adding annotations. The issue was fixed in version 3.17.0. As a workaround, apply the patch manually by modifying `pypdf/generic/_data_structures.py`.
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. An attacker who uses an infinite loop vulnerability that is present in versions prior to 6.6.2 can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This requires accessing the outlines/bookmarks. This has been fixed in pypdf 6.6.2. If projects cannot upgrade yet, consider applying the changes from PR #3610 manually.
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, a crafted PDF can cause long runtimes and large memory consumption when pypdf/_font.py function Font._collect_cid_character_widths expands unusually large CID font /W width ranges or excessive width entries during text extraction. This issue is fixed in 6.15.0.
pypdf is an open source, pure-python PDF library. In affected versions an attacker may craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop if `__parse_content_stream` is executed. That is, for example, the case if the user extracted text from such a PDF. This issue was introduced in pull request #969 and resolved in pull request #1828. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may modify the line `while peek not in (b"\r", b"\n")` in `pypdf/generic/_data_structures.py` to `while peek not in (b"\r", b"\n", b"")`.

OpenStack Ironic before 39.0.1 sometimes allows a user to change the maintenance setting on a node via PATCH to /v1/nodes/{ident} - in other words, not using the specific maintenance endpoint.
LORIS (Longitudinal Online Research and Imaging System) is a self-hosted web application that provides data- and project-management for neuroimaging research. In versions from 22.0.0 prior to 27.0.4 and from 28.0.0 prior to 28.0.2, the `API` for the `imaging_browser` module permits edits to imaging data without checking the frontend permissions that restrict editing in Imaging Browser. An authenticated `API` caller can therefore modify imaging data without the required edit authorization. Deployments that no longer use the `API` can disable it to remove access to this endpoint. This issue is fixed in versions 27.0.4 and 28.0.2.
Arc is an open, SQL-native time-series database for telemetry. Prior to the repository-verified 26.06.2 repair, the remediation of `CVE-2026-47735` leaves a cross-database authorization bypass through DuckDB table-valued I/O functions. In `internal/database/sandbox.go`, `allowed_directories` uses `cfg.LocalStorageRoot`, configured by `storage.local_path`, while `enable_external_access=false` blocks access outside that entire multi-tenant root. `GetStoragePath` in `internal/storage/util.go` stores all databases beneath it. In `internal/api/query.go`, `extractTableReferences` skips names followed by an opening parenthesis and `checkQueryPermissions` allows queries with no extracted table references, including tokens with `permissions: []`. The `userSQLReadParquetPattern` denylist catches literal `read_parquet(` and the earlier protection also blocks `arc_partition_agg(`, but misses the `parquet_scan` alias and `glob`, `parquet_metadata`, `parquet_schema`, `read_blob`, `read_csv_auto`, `read_json` and `read_text`. A request to `POST /api/v1/query` using these unblocked functions passes `ValidateSQLRequest` and `convertSQLToStoragePaths` without tenant authorization, allowing reads and enumeration of other databases' time-series data, schema and per-column value-range statistics within the allowlisted root. The sandbox still blocks out-of-root OS files and HTTP SSRF, and the sibling SQLite token database outside the root is not exposed by this mechanism. The earlier 26.06.1 remediation does not comprehensively deny these I/O functions. Repository tag 26.06.2 contains the I/O-function repair and supplies the provisional remediation boundary; conflicting advisory affected-version statements require curator adjudication.
Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the Modoboa driver of the password plugin. The driver took the first entry of the account search result returned by the Modoboa API instead of matching the authenticated user, so a password change could be applied to a different account. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Fix bug where Password Modoboa driver could change password for another account”, which selects the account whose username matches and fails if none does.
Missing Authorization (CWE-862) in the user API of Roskus Prospero Flow CRM from 2.0.0 before 5.26.0 allows a user with a basic role to read the accounts of other users of its own company, including accounts with higher privileges, and, in versions from 3.5.0, to delete them, because the routes GET /api/user/{id} and DELETE /api/user/{id} in routes/api.php carry only the auth:api middleware, which checks that a JSON Web Token is valid and nothing more, and neither UserReadController::read() nor UserDeleteController::delete() checks a permission, a policy or a role before acting. Object access is scoped by company: the read path limits the query to the company of the authenticated user, and the delete path compares the company of the target account with the company of the authenticated user. The delete path skips that comparison when the company of the authenticated user is Company::DEFAULT_COMPANY, so a user with a basic role in that company can delete any account of any company of the installation. Deleting an account removes the data held on it, and the last administrative account of a company can be deleted. This gives the attacker the personal data held on the other accounts, including email address, telephone number, postal address and IBAN, and the ability to delete accounts it has no permission to administer.
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.18.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. An attacker can obtain the required nonce and subscriberauth cookie without a WordPress account by simply subscribing through the public newsletter form and opening the management link sent via email; the ownership check verifies only the subscriber_id field and does not validate that the injected id parameter belongs to the authenticated subscriber.
An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
