CVSS v3.1 |
Paperless-ngx is a document management system that transforms physical documents into a searchable online archive. Starting in version 2.5.0 and prior to version 2.8.6, remote user authentication allows API access even if API access is explicitly disabled. Version 2.8.6 contains a patchc for the issue.
| The AirVantage platform is vulnerable to an unauthorized attacker registering previously unregistered
devices on the AirVantage platform when the owner has not disabled the AirVantage Management
Service on the devices or registered the device. This could enable an attacker to configure, manage,
and execute AT commands on an unsuspecting user’s devices. |
A missing authentication mechanism in the web management API components of Shenzhen Zhibotong Electronics ZBT WE2001 23.09.27 allows unauthenticated attackers on the local network to modify router and network configurations. By invoking operations whose names end with "*_nocommit" and supplying the parameters expected by the invoked function, an attacker can change configuration data, including SSID, Wi-Fi credentials, and administrative passwords, without authentication or an existing session.
A lack of session validation in the web API component of Shenzhen Zhibotong Electronics ZBT WE2001 23.09.27 allows remote unauthenticated attackers to access administrative information-retrieval functions intended for authenticated users. By invoking "get_*" operations, attackers can obtain device configuration data, including plaintext credentials, without authentication or an existing session.
sudo-rs is a memory safe implementation of sudo and su written in Rust. With `Defaults targetpw` (or `Defaults rootpw`) enabled, the password of the target account (or root account) instead of the invoking user is used for authentication. sudo-rs starting in version 0.2.5 and prior to version 0.2.10 incorrectly recorded the invoking user’s UID instead of the authenticated-as user's UID in the authentication timestamp. Any later `sudo` invocation on the same terminal while the timestamp was still valid would use that timestamp, potentially bypassing new authentication even if the policy would have required it. A highly-privileged user (able to run commands as other users, or as root, through sudo) who knows one password of an account they are allowed to run commands as, would be able to run commands as any other account the policy permits them to run commands for, even if they don't know the password for those accounts. A common instance of this would be that a user can still use their own password to run commands as root (the default behaviour of `sudo`), effectively negating the intended behaviour of the `targetpw` or `rootpw` options. Version 0.2.10 contains a patch for the issue. Versions prior to 0.2.5 are not affected, since they do not offer `Defaults targetpw` or `Defaults rootpw`.
OctoPrint-SpoolManager is a plugin for managing spools and all their usage metadata. In versions 1.8.0a2 and older of the testing branch and versions 1.7.7 and older of the stable branch, the APIs of the OctoPrint-SpoolManager plugin do not correctly enforce authentication or authorization checks. This issue has been patched in versions 1.8.0a3 of the testing branch and 1.7.8 of the stable branch. The impact of this vulnerability is greatly reduced when using OctoPrint version 1.11.2 and newer.
Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite. Versions 0.4.3 and below allow attackers who have already gained access to localhost, even with low privileges, to use the http server through the port unauthenticated, and access private integration data like emails, without any warning of a foreign login from the provider. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.4.
Improper authentication in the web-based management interface of NETLINK HG322G V1.0.00-231017, allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to escalate privileges and lock out the legitimate administrator via crafted HTTP requests.
Formbricks is an open source qualtrics alternative. Prior to version 4.0.1, Formbricks is missing JWT signature verification. This vulnerability stems from a token validation routine that only decodes JWTs (jwt.decode) without verifying their signatures. Both the email verification token login path and the password reset server action use the same validator, which does not check the token’s signature, expiration, issuer, or audience. If an attacker learns the victim’s actual user.id, they can craft an arbitrary JWT with an alg: "none" header and use it to authenticate and reset the victim’s password. This issue has been patched in version 4.0.1.
An issue in RTSPtoWeb v.2.4.3 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information and executearbitrary code via the lack of authentication mechanisms
A SAML library not dependent on any frameworks that runs in Node. In version 5.0.1, Node-SAML loads the assertion from the (unsigned) original response document. This is different than the parts that are verified when checking signature. This allows an attacker to modify authentication details within a valid SAML assertion. For example, in one attack it is possible to remove any character from the SAML assertion username. To conduct the attack an attacker would need a validly signed document from the identity provider (IdP). This is fixed in version 5.1.0.
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Multilaser Sirius RE016 MLT1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi of the component Password Change Handler. The manipulation leads to improper authentication. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Press, a Frappe custom app that runs Frappe Cloud, manages infrastructure, subscription, marketplace, and software-as-a-service (SaaS). Users can circumvent 2FA login for users due to a lack of server side validation for the same. This vulnerability is fixed in commit ddb439f8eb1816010f2ef653a908648b71f9bba8.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Gowabby HFish 0.1. This issue affects the function LoadUrl of the file \view\url.go. The manipulation of the argument r leads to improper authentication. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
An issue in Roadcute API v.1 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the application exposing a password reset API endpoint that fails to validate the identity of the requester properly
An authentication bypass vulnerability in the /web/um_open_telnet.cgi endpoint in Nexxt Solutions NCM-X1800 Mesh Router firmware UV1.2.7 and below, allowing an attacker to remotely enable the Telnet service without authentication, bypassing security controls. The Telnet server is then accessible with hard-coded credentials, allowing attackers to gain administrative shell access and execute arbitrary commands on the device.
Auth0-PHP provides the PHP SDK for Auth0 Authentication and Management APIs. Starting in version 8.0.0-BETA1 and prior to version 8.14.0, session cookies of applications using the Auth0-PHP SDK configured with CookieStore have authentication tags that can be brute forced, which may result in unauthorized access. Certain pre-conditions are required to be vulnerable to this issue: Applications using the Auth0-PHP SDK, or the Auth0/symfony, Auth0/laravel-auth0, and Auth0/wordpress SDKs that rely on the Auth0-PHP SDK; and session storage configured with CookieStore. Upgrade Auth0/Auth0-PHP to v8.14.0 to receive a patch. As an additional precautionary measure, rotating cookie encryption keys is recommended. Note that once updated, any previous session cookies will be rejected.
passport-wsfed-saml2 provides passport strategy for both WS-fed and SAML2 protocol. A vulnerability present starting in version 3.0.5 up to and including version 4.6.3 allows an attacker to impersonate any user during SAML authentication by tampering with a valid SAML response. This can be done by adding attributes to the response. Users are affected specifically when the service provider is using `passport-wsfed-saml2` and a valid SAML Response signed by the Identity Provider can be obtained. Version 4.6.4 contains a fix for the vulnerability.
passport-wsfed-saml2 provides passport strategy for both WS-fed and SAML2 protocol. A vulnerability present starting in version 3.0.5 up to and including version 4.6.3 allows an attacker to impersonate any user during SAML authentication by crafting a SAMLResponse. This can be done by using a valid SAML object that was signed by the configured IdP. Users are affected specifically when the service provider is using passport-wsfed-saml2 and a valid SAML document signed by the Identity Provider can be obtained. Version 4.6.4 contains a fix for the vulnerability.
An attacker can bypass authorization checks and force a Step CA ACME or SCEP provisioner to create certificates without completing certain protocol authorization checks.
