CVE-2026-84179 2026-09-14 6.5 Medium
Description getTopologyPageInfo merged the Nimbus daemon configuration with the topology's own configuration and returned the result without redaction in the topology_conf field of TopologyPageInfo. The Storm UI copied that value verbatim into the configuration field of GET /api/v1/topology/{id} and of the corresponding metrics endpoint. Where the cluster is configured with them, the merged map includes storm.zookeeper.auth.payload, which Storm's own documentation directs operators to keep in storm-cluster-auth.yaml under permissions that deny access from workers, together with the keystore and truststore passwords for the Thrift, Netty and ZooKeeper TLS configuration, and any plugin key whose name denotes a secret. getTopologyPageInfo is a topology read-only operation. Under SimpleACLAuthorizer a principal listed in topology.readonly.users or topology.readonly.groups could therefore read daemon credentials that the dedicated cluster configuration API, getNimbusConf, redacts and that is gated on nimbus.users instead. The sibling operations that exist to serve configuration were masked; the topology page, which merges in strictly more daemon state, was not. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where credential-bearing values are masked before any configuration is served over the Nimbus API. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should remove any principal that is not trusted with cluster credentials from topology.readonly.users, topology.readonly.groups, topology.users and topology.groups, and should rotate the ZooKeeper authentication payload and any TLS keystore or truststore passwords that were reachable through the topology page. CVE-2026-82434 2026-09-14 6.5 Medium
Description When ZooKeeper authentication is configured, Storm deliberately retains `storm.zookeeper.topology.auth.payload` in the topology configuration, because workers need it. Nimbus then served that configuration verbatim to any caller holding read-only topology permissions, so a user whose only grant was the ability to view a topology received its ZooKeeper credential. That credential is not read-only. The cluster state implementation uses write-capable ACLs for worker heartbeats, backpressure and error state, so a recipient can forge or remove that state for the topology concerned. It is not a write credential on assignments. The same advisory covers the submission client, which logged the generated payload at INFO on every submission that generated one, and the SASL handlers, which logged it at DEBUG. The credential therefore also reached any log aggregation or support bundle collected from the cluster. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the payload is removed from the configuration served to read-only callers and is no longer written to logs. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should rotate `storm.zookeeper.topology.auth.payload` for existing topologies, review retained logs and support bundles for the value, and restrict read-only topology permissions to trusted principals. CVE-2026-82433 2026-09-14 6.5 Medium
Description `getNimbusConf` returned the complete daemon configuration without redaction after only a user-level authorization check. Where the cluster is configured with them, that response includes `storm.zookeeper.auth.payload` and the keystore and truststore passwords for the Thrift, Netty and ZooKeeper TLS configuration. The project masks passwords elsewhere before display, so the omission here is inconsistent rather than intended. The UI endpoint `/api/v1/cluster/configuration` compounded this. It carried no `@AuthNimbusOp` annotation, and the authorization filter treated a missing annotation as "no gate required" and returned immediately, so the endpoint applied no per-user check at all and proxied the request under the UI daemon's own principal. Any user able to pass `ui.filter` therefore received the full configuration, including principals that Nimbus itself would have refused.  Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where credential-bearing values are masked before the configuration is served and where every UI API endpoint must declare its authorization explicitly. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should place the UI behind an authenticating reverse proxy that restricts `/api/v1/cluster/configuration`, and should rotate the ZooKeeper authentication payload and any TLS keystore or truststore passwords that were reachable through it. CVE-2026-78006 2 Stellarwp, Wordpress 2 The Events Calendar, Wordpress 2026-09-14 9.8 Critical
The The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 6.17.4 via the is_safe_widget_instance function. This is due to insufficient protection in is_safe_widget_instance, which can be bypassed because PHP fires magic methods during its pre-parse, combined with enable_rendering_widget_copied() forging a valid wp_hash integrity attribute before unserialize() is reached. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. This is exploitable without authentication or approval because the plugin's V2 single-event template runs do_blocks() over buffered comment HTML, and WordPress returns a moderation-hash URL that allows an unauthenticated commenter to immediately view their own pending comment, delivering the injected block markup to the vulnerable code path before any moderation occurs. This does require comments to be enabled and visible on events.
CVE-2026-75015 1 Apache 1 Syncope 2026-09-14 4.9 Medium

CVE-2026-90616 1 Flatpak 1 Flatpak 2026-09-14 7.4 High
In Flatpak before 1.18.1, a malicious sandboxed app can obtain arbitrary read and write access to files on the host, which can be escalated to arbitrary code execution on the host, a different vulnerability than CVE-2026-76925. Flatpak creates a few app data directories (e.g., /var/cache, /var/data, /var/config, and /var/tmp) in every sandbox on every app launch where, in some cases, components of the path are attacker-controlled. Missing symlink protection can redirect the directories. Some of these directories are bind-mounted by Flatpak by passing the path (e.g., /home/user/.var/app/APP_ID/cache/tmp), which contains attacker-controlled directories (tmp) to bwrap --bind SRC DST. bwrap passes the path on to the kernel, which then follows symlinks. A malicious symlink can point to arbitrary locations on the host and it will become mounted inside the sandbox.

CVE-2026-54248 1 Kimdre 1 Doco-cd 2026-09-14 6.5 Medium
Doco-CD is a GitOps continuous delivery tool that automatically deploys and updates Docker Compose projects/services and Swarm stacks. Prior to version 0.90.1, a trust-boundary flaw in OCI artifact verification allowed artifact-provided deployment config to influence the policy used to verify that same artifact. When global OCI signature verification was enabled via `OCI_TRUST_POLICY` (`enabled: true`), an attacker with write access to the configured OCI tag could publish an unsigned or improperly signed artifact containing `.doco-cd.yml` with `oci.verify: false`. This could cause signature verification to be bypassed and untrusted deployment content to be applied. This primarily impacts users deploying from OCI artifacts where deployment config is read from artifact contents (for example, poll/webhook flows without trusted inline deployment overrides). The issue is fixed by enforcing a strict trust boundary and no-downgrade behavior. First, artifact-contained `.doco-cd.yml` is treated as untrusted for OCI trust-policy override decisions. Second, if global `OCI_TRUST_POLICY.enabled` is `true`, per-deployment `oci.verify: false` cannot disable verification. Some workarounds are available. Do not source deployment config from untrusted OCI artifact contents. Use trusted inline `POLL_CONFIG.deployments` and avoid relying on artifact-contained trust-policy overrides. Restrict write/push permissions for OCI repositories/tags used by doco-cd. Prefer immutable digest pinning and protected release/tag workflows. Monitor for unexpected artifact digest changes and failed/suspicious verification events.
CVE-2026-90777 1 Espnet 1 Espnet 2026-09-14 8.8 High
