CVE-2026-54228 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2026-08-12 7.8 High
A time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition was found in the abrt-dbus D-Bus service's SetElement method. Between dump directory creation and post-create event execution, any local user can call SetElement to write arbitrary text files into the root-owned dump directory, bypassing package validation and allowing crashes of unpackaged binaries to survive post-create processing.
CVE-2023-44487 33 Akka, Amazon, Apache and 30 more 378 Http Server, Opensearch Data Prepper, Apisix and 375 more 2026-08-11 7.5 High
The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
CVE-2023-2008 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-08-10 8.2 High
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's udmabuf device driver, within a fault handler. This issue occurs due to the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in memory access past the end of an array. This may allow an attacker to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel.
CVE-2021-4037 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-08-10 4.4 Medium
A vulnerability was found in the fs/inode.c:inode_init_owner() function logic of the LInux kernel that allows local users to create files for the XFS file-system with an unintended group ownership and with group execution and SGID permission bits set, in a scenario where a directory is SGID and belongs to a certain group and is writable by a user who is not a member of this group. This can lead to excessive permissions granted in case when they should not. This vulnerability is similar to the previous CVE-2018-13405 and adds the missed fix for the XFS.
CVE-2024-21404 2 Microsoft, Redhat 7 .net, Asp.net Core, Visual Studio and 4 more 2026-08-10 7.5 High
.NET Denial of Service Vulnerability
CVE-2023-38180 3 Fedoraproject, Microsoft, Redhat 7 Fedora, .net, Asp.net Core and 4 more 2026-08-10 7.5 High
.NET and Visual Studio Denial of Service Vulnerability
CVE-2023-35390 2 Microsoft, Redhat 5 .net, Visual Studio 2022, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-08-10 7.8 High
.NET and Visual Studio Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
CVE-2023-2235 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more 2026-08-07 7.8 High
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux Kernel Performance Events system can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The perf_group_detach function did not check the event's siblings' attach_state before calling add_event_to_groups(), but remove_on_exec made it possible to call list_del_event() on before detaching from their group, making it possible to use a dangling pointer causing a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit fd0815f632c24878e325821943edccc7fde947a2.
CVE-2024-1086 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 35 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 32 more 2026-08-07 7.8 High
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The nft_verdict_init() function allows positive values as drop error within the hook verdict, and hence the nf_hook_slow() function can cause a double free vulnerability when NF_DROP is issued with a drop error which resembles NF_ACCEPT. We recommend upgrading past commit f342de4e2f33e0e39165d8639387aa6c19dff660.
CVE-2022-2196 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-08-07 5.8 Medium
A regression exists in the Linux Kernel within KVM: nVMX that allowed for speculative execution attacks. L2 can carry out Spectre v2 attacks on L1 due to L1 thinking it doesn't need retpolines or IBPB after running L2 due to KVM (L0) advertising eIBRS support to L1. An attacker at L2 with code execution can execute code on an indirect branch on the host machine. We recommend upgrading to Kernel 6.2 or applying the relevant stable backports (v5.4.233, v5.10.170, v5.15.96, v6.1.14).
CVE-2024-9675 2 Buildah Project, Redhat 21 Buildah, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 18 more 2026-08-07 7.8 High
A vulnerability was found in Buildah. Cache mounts do not properly validate that user-specified paths for the cache are within our cache directory, allowing a `RUN` instruction in a Container file to mount an arbitrary directory from the host (read/write) into the container as long as those files can be accessed by the user running Buildah.
CVE-2021-40438 11 Apache, Broadcom, Debian and 8 more 45 Http Server, Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux and 42 more 2026-08-05 9 Critical
A crafted request uri-path can cause mod_proxy to forward the request to an origin server choosen by the remote user. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.48 and earlier.
CVE-2024-41056 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-08-05 7.3 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: cs_dsp: Use strnlen() on name fields in V1 wmfw files Use strnlen() instead of strlen() on the algorithm and coefficient name string arrays in V1 wmfw files. In V1 wmfw files the name is a NUL-terminated string in a fixed-size array. cs_dsp should protect against overrunning the array if the NUL terminator is missing.
CVE-2026-53703 2 Gstreamer, Redhat 4 Gstreamer, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 1 more 2026-08-05 7.1 High
A vulnerability was found in the GStreamer RealMedia demuxer (gst-plugins-ugly). When processing a RealMedia (.rm) file, the demuxer parses MDPR (media properties) chunks to configure audio streams. For audio stream header versions 4 and 5, the parser reads fields such as codec type, packet size, sample rate, channel count, and extra codec data length from fixed offsets within the chunk without first checking that the chunk contains enough data. If a malicious file provides an MDPR chunk that is too small to contain a complete audio stream header, the parser reads beyond the end of the buffer. This can cause the application to crash. In some cases, bytes read past the buffer boundary may be incorporated into stream metadata, which could result in limited information disclosure.
CVE-2026-50257 2 Redhat, X.org 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more 2026-08-04 7.8 High
A use-after-free flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in miSyncDestroyFence(). A client that sets up multiple fence triggers can trigger a use-after-free function pointer call. An attacker would connect to the X server to set up a fence and await that fence, then a second X connection destroys the fence, causing the use-after-free. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root.
CVE-2026-50262 2 Redhat, X.org 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more 2026-08-04 5.5 Medium
An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in __glXDisp_ChangeDrawableAttributes(). A wrong size validation check can read a client-controlled number of bytes, exceeding the request buffer, leading to information disclosure. A write path also exists but requires byte-swapped clients which is disabled by default.
CVE-2026-50258 2 Redhat, X.org 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 7 more 2026-08-04 7.8 High
A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland. The X server has multiple stack buffers sized XkbMaxShiftLevel * XkbNumKbdGroups but CheckKeyTypes() does not verify or clamp non-canonical key types to XkbMaxShiftLevel. A client can change key types to excessive shift levels and trigger stack overflows. This is caused by an incomplete fix of CVE-2025-26597. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root.
CVE-2026-50261 2 Redhat, X.org 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more 2026-08-04 7.8 High
A use-after-free flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in SyncChangeCounter(). A client that sets up multiple SyncCounters can trigger a use-after-free when destroying those counters via a second client connection while changing those counters. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root.
CVE-2026-50260 2 Redhat, X.org 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more 2026-08-04 7.8 High
A use-after-free flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in FreeCounter(). A client that sets up multiple SyncCounters and awaits on those triggers can trigger a use-after-free when destroying those counters via a second client connection. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root.
CVE-2026-50259 3 Redhat, X.org, Xorg 12 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 9 more 2026-08-04 7.8 High
A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland. _XkbSetMapChecks() declares a fixed-size stack buffer mapWidths[256] indexed by key type index. The helper function CheckKeyTypes() writes to this buffer at a client-controlled offset, allowing a stack buffer overflow. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root.
