CVSS v3.1 |
| Clients using DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) can exhaust a DNS resolver's CPU and/or memory by flooding it with crafted valid or invalid HTTP/2 traffic.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.32, 9.20.0 through 9.20.4, 9.21.0 through 9.21.3, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.32-S1. |
| Cloudburst Network provides network components used within Cloudburst projects. A vulnerability in versions prior to `1.0.0.CR1-20240330.101522-15` impacts publicly accessible software depending on the affected versions of Network and allows an attacker to use Network as an amplification vector for a UDP denial of service attack against a third party or as an attempt to trigger service suspension of the host. All consumers of the library should upgrade to at least version `1.0.0.CR1-20240330.101522-15` to receive a fix. There are no known workarounds beyond updating the library. |
| Frigate is a network video recorder (NVR) with realtime local object detection for IP cameras. Below 0.13.2 Release, when uploading a file or retrieving the filename, a user may intentionally use a large Unicode filename which would lead to a application-level denial of service. This is due to no limitation set on the length of the filename and the costy use of the Unicode normalization with the form NFKD under the hood of `secure_filename()`. |
| A buffer-management vulnerability in OPC Foundation OPCFoundation.NetStandard.Opc.Ua.Core before 1.05.374.54 could allow remote attackers to exhaust memory resources. It is triggered when the system receives an excessive number of messages from a remote source. This could potentially lead to a denial of service (DoS) condition, disrupting the normal operation of the system. |
| gorilla/schema converts structs to and from form values. Prior to version 1.4.1 Running `schema.Decoder.Decode()` on a struct that has a field of type `[]struct{...}` opens it up to malicious attacks regarding memory allocations, taking advantage of the sparse slice functionality. Any use of `schema.Decoder.Decode()` on a struct with arrays of other structs could be vulnerable to this memory exhaustion vulnerability. Version 1.4.1 contains a patch for the issue. |
| nptd-rs is a tool for synchronizing your computer's clock, implementing the NTP and NTS protocols. There is a missing limit for accepted NTS-KE connections. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash ntpd-rs when an NTS-KE server is configured. Non NTS-KE server configurations, such as the default ntpd-rs configuration, are unaffected. This vulnerability has been patched in version 1.1.3.

| GraphQL Java (aka graphql-java) before 21.5 does not properly consider ExecutableNormalizedFields (ENFs) as part of preventing denial of service via introspection queries. 20.9 and 19.11 are also fixed versions. |
| Action Pack is a framework for handling and responding to web requests. Starting in version 3.1.0 and prior to versions 6.1.7.9, 7.0.8.5, 7.1.4.1, and 7.2.1.1, there is a possible ReDoS vulnerability in the query parameter filtering routines of Action Dispatch. Carefully crafted query parameters can cause query parameter filtering to take an unexpected amount of time, possibly resulting in a DoS vulnerability. All users running an affected release should either upgrade to version 6.1.7.9, 7.0.8.5, 7.1.4.1, or 7.2.1.1 or apply the relevant patch immediately. One may use Ruby 3.2 as a workaround. Ruby 3.2 has mitigations for this problem, so Rails applications using Ruby 3.2 or newer are unaffected. Rails 8.0.0.beta1 depends on Ruby 3.2 or greater so is unaffected. |
| Starlette is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework/toolkit. Prior to version 0.40.0, Starlette treats `multipart/form-data` parts without a `filename` as text form fields and buffers those in byte strings with no size limit. This allows an attacker to upload arbitrary large form fields and cause Starlette to both slow down significantly due to excessive memory allocations and copy operations, and also consume more and more memory until the server starts swapping and grinds to a halt, or the OS terminates the server process with an OOM error. Uploading multiple such requests in parallel may be enough to render a service practically unusable, even if reasonable request size limits are enforced by a reverse proxy in front of Starlette. This Denial of service (DoS) vulnerability affects all applications built with Starlette (or FastAPI) accepting form requests. Verison 0.40.0 fixes this issue. |
| An issue in aedes v0.51.2 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service(DoS) via a crafted request. NOTE: the Supplier indicates that exploitation cannot occur because of the protection mechanism in the validateTopic function in lib/utils.js. |
| Foundry Artifacts was found to be vulnerable to a Denial Of Service attack due to disk being potentially filled up based on an user supplied argument (size). |
| rPGP is a pure Rust implementation of OpenPGP. Prior to 0.14.1, rPGP allows attackers to trigger resource exhaustion vulnerabilities in rpgp by providing crafted messages. This affects general message parsing and decryption with symmetric keys. |
| python-multipart is a streaming multipart parser for Python. When parsing form data, python-multipart skips line breaks (CR \r or LF \n) in front of the first boundary and any tailing bytes after the last boundary. This happens one byte at a time and emits a log event each time, which may cause excessive logging for certain inputs. An attacker could abuse this by sending a malicious request with lots of data before the first or after the last boundary, causing high CPU load and stalling the processing thread for a significant amount of time. In case of ASGI application, this could stall the event loop and prevent other requests from being processed, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.0.18. |
| In AXESS ACS (Auto Configuration Server) through 5.2.0, unsanitized user input in the TR069 API allows remote unauthenticated attackers to cause a permanent Denial of Service via crafted TR069 requests on TCP port 9675 or 7547. Rebooting does not resolve the permanent Denial of Service. |
| A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher Manager in which it
did not enforce request body size limits on certain public
(unauthenticated) and authenticated API endpoints. This allows a
malicious user to exploit this by sending excessively large payloads,
which are fully loaded into memory during processing, leading to Denial of Service (DoS). |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in LG Electronics LG SuperSign CMS allows Port Scanning. This issue affects LG SuperSign CMS: from 4.1.3 before < 4.3.1. |
| BentoML version v1.3.4post1 is vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. The vulnerability can be exploited by appending characters, such as dashes (-), to the end of a multipart boundary in an HTTP request. This causes the server to continuously process each character, leading to excessive resource consumption and rendering the service unavailable. The issue is unauthenticated and does not require any user interaction, impacting all users of the service. |
| An Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in the ANSL-Server component of B&R Automation Runtime versions prior to 6.5 and prior to R4.93 could be exploited by an unauthenti-cated attacker on the network to win a race condition, resulting in permanent denial-of-service (DoS) conditions on affected devices. |
| EasyFlow GP developed by Digiwin has a Denial of service vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to send specific requests that result in denial of web service. |
| A flaw was found in the virtio-crypto device of QEMU. A malicious guest operating system can exploit a missing length limit in the AKCIPHER path, leading to uncontrolled memory allocation. This can result in a denial of service (DoS) on the host system by causing the QEMU process to terminate unexpectedly. |
