CVSS v3.1 |
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.65.9 through 0.70.5, PydanticFieldRepresentation.add_field_properties inserts a schema field's doc value between the quotes of a generated pydantic.Field description argument without escaping it. A crafted quote can terminate the string and inject an expression evaluated during generated class definition, allowing arbitrary Python code execution for Pydantic and AvroDantic model generation. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping the documentation value before rendering it. |
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.44.0 through 0.70.5, the Pydantic and AvroDantic model generators insert a schema field's pydantic-class value after pydantic. in a generated field annotation without safely restricting the expression. Because annotations are evaluated when the generated module is imported, a crafted value can execute arbitrary Python code. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by restricting the value to a bare name or a call to a bare name with literal arguments. |
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, EnumRepresentation.render_symbols concatenates each schema-controlled enum symbol between double quotes in a generated enum assignment. When generator classes are used directly, a quote can terminate the string literal and inject arbitrary Python code into the enum class body, which executes when the generated module is imported. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping enum symbol values before rendering them. |
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, FieldRepresentation.get_field_default renders a schema-controlled enum field default as an enum member reference after applying case conversion but without validating it as an identifier. Newlines, operators, and punctuation can escape the intended reference and inject constrained statements into the generated module, allowing namespace modification or preventing the module from loading. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by validating enum defaults as names. |
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, BaseGenerator.parse_fixed interpolates a fixed type's aliases value directly into a generated types.confixed annotation. A list is represented with quoted entries, but a bare string is emitted as an unquoted Python expression and evaluated when the generated module is imported, allowing arbitrary code execution from a crafted schema. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by rejecting aliases values that are not lists. |
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, BaseGenerator.parse_enum and EnumRepresentation.render_symbols use each schema-controlled enum symbol as a generated enum member name after case conversion but without validating it as an identifier. When generator classes are used directly, newlines and punctuation can inject constrained statements into the generated enum class body, allowing namespace modification or preventing the module from loading. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by validating every enum symbol as a name. |
| Razorpay IFSC Ruby gem through 2.0.62 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows attackers to redirect API requests by supplying a crafted IFSC code to IFSC.find or IFSC#get. Attackers can submit network-path references or absolute URIs that URI.join resolves as a new host, sending GET requests to internal or attacker-chosen hosts and returning parsed response fields. |
| Text::CSV_XS versions from 1.46 before 1.65 for Perl have a use-after-free of bind_columns variables when skip_empty_rows skips an empty line in getline.
With bind_columns, the parser writes each field into the caller's own scalar without taking a reference to it. When skip_empty_rows skips an empty last line, the parser frees the current field scalar without checking whether it is bound, dropping one reference from the application's variable. The "eof" mode does the same on any empty line.
The variable is then freed while the application still references it, so later code uses freed memory and can crash the process. |
| Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl allow record splitting by writing strings used as numbers without quotes in combine.
combine and print do not check whether a field needs quotes when its value has Perl's integer or numeric flag set. Perl sets these flags on a string used in a numeric operation when it parses as a number, which allows leading and trailing whitespace. With binary set, as csv does by default, "12\n" passes a check such as $qty > 0 and is then written unquoted with its newline.
A value validated as a number can end the record early and turn the fields after it into a separate row. |
| The User Registration & Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution in versions up to, and including, 5.2.8 This is due to insufficient input sanitization in the 'referrer_url' branch of UR_Smart_Tags::process(), where the attacker-controlled HTTP_REFERER header is only passed through sanitize_text_field() — which does not strip WordPress shortcode delimiters — before being substituted into a Content Restriction message that is subsequently executed via apply_shortcodes()/do_shortcode(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary registered shortcodes on any restricted page whose message uses the supported {{referrer_url}} smart tag. |
| An issue in nvbn thefuck v.3.32 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the get_rules_import_paths in thefuck/corrector.py and Rule.from_path in thefuck/types.py |
| LocalAI v4.6.0 through v4.11.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in core/gallery/gallery.go that validates only the initial gallery config URL. Attackers can submit a config URL through POST /models/apply that redirects to internal or cloud metadata addresses, receiving those internal responses as gallery content. |
| Trudesk through 1.2.11 contains a regular expression injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate usernames by submitting regex patterns to POST /api/v1/login. Attackers can send alternations or prefixes like (admin|root) or a.* and distinguish 'Invalid User' from 'Invalid Password' responses to discover valid accounts. |
| WeRSS (we-mp-rss) through 1.5.3 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to run code via the template parameter of the public GET /rss/{feed_id} endpoint. Attackers can supply a non-built-in ext value and a {{=expression}} template whose object-subclass traversal bypasses the eval denylist to run OS commands as the service account. |
| Trudesk through 1.2.11 contains a server-side JavaScript injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users to inject code into a MongoDB $where clause via the search parameter. Attackers can close the regular expression in GET /api/v1/tickets/search to loop mongod for denial of service or leak full ticket documents including internal notes. |
| JQ::Lite versions before 2.51 for Perl execute Perl code embedded in a query's regular expression by compiling it with string eval.
The pattern given to test(), match(), or the match and =~ conditions of select() is placed in a `qr'...'` literal and compiled as source text, so a `(?{ ... })` code block in it runs without `use re 'eval'`. Single quotes in the pattern are escaped, but a code block runs in place and needs none.
An attacker who supplies a query, or text that an application inserts into the pattern of one, can execute arbitrary Perl code in the calling process. |
| The Subscribe to Comments WordPress plugin before 2.3.3 does not sanitise newline characters from a notification sender-name setting before using it in e-mail headers, allowing users with Author-level access and above to inject arbitrary e-mail headers, such as a hidden Bcc, and to spoof the sender. |
| Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection') vulnerability in HivePress HivePress hivepress allows Remote Code Inclusion. This issue affects HivePress: from n/a through 1.7.32. |
| Sigma File Manager through 2.2.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability because validate_remote_url() in security.rs never checks resolved IP addresses for extension download commands. A malicious extension or catalog entry can use hostnames resolving to loopback, private, or cloud metadata addresses to read internal responses via files written to the extension directory. |
| crewai-tools through 1.15.28 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in SeleniumScrapingTool that allows attackers to fetch internal resources because it never applies the validate_url private-address check. Attackers influencing agent tool input through prompt injection can direct headless Chrome to loopback, RFC1918, or cloud metadata addresses to disclose internal data and cloud credentials. |
