CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was found in Edimax EW-7478APC 1.04. Affected is the function formPPPoESetup of the file /goform/formPPPoESetup of the component POST Request Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument pppUserName results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Tenda JD12L 16.03.53.23. The affected element is the function fromSetWifiGusetBasic of the file /goform/WifiGuestSet. Performing a manipulation of the argument shareSpeed results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in Investintech SlimPDFReader up to 2.0.14. Affected by this issue is the function SlimPDFReader!Investintech::PCV::TeighaDo+0x25cde0 of the file SlimPDFReader.exe of the component PDF File Handler. Performing a manipulation results in out-of-bounds read. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1, destructor of JSON Object results in stack overflow when deeply O(100K) nested objects are present. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1. |
| OpenProject is open-source, web-based project management software. Prior to , the official openproject/openproject Docker image ships ENV SECRET_KEY_BASE=OVERWRITE_ME as the default Rails master key. Combined with cookies_serializer = :marshal, this gives any logged-in user a deterministic Marshal-deserialization path reachable via the /my/two_factor_devices cookie reader This vulnerability is fixed in . |
| Eclipse tinydtls before commit b3efd41ad111a4920f599f51ffa4f5e9f1e72221 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the check_server_certificate() function that allows unauthenticated attackers to trigger reads beyond valid buffer boundaries by crafting a Certificate handshake message with a specific fragment_length value. Attackers can exploit missing buffer length validation before uint24 reads, memcmp, and memcpy operations during DTLS epoch 0 on both client and server paths to cause denial of service on memory-constrained devices. |
| dsp_mmap_single() validated the requested mapping by checking the sum of the user-supplied offset and length against the buffer size. This addition could overflow, so that a large offset and length wrapped around and passed the check. The offset was then narrowed from 64 to 32 bits when converted to a buffer address, yielding a mapping that extended past the audio buffer into unrelated kernel memory.
The /dev/dsp device nodes are world-accessible by default. On a system with an audio device, either issue allows an unprivileged local user to read and write kernel memory, which can be used to escalate privileges, potentially gaining full control of the affected system. At a minimum, an attacker can crash the kernel, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| The ELF image activator cleared per-process ASLR preference flags for setuid binaries after the code that computes the PIE base address, rather than before. As a result, a user-requested ASLR disable was still in effect at the point where the base address was chosen.
An unprivileged local user can disable ASLR for a setuid PIE binary by calling procctl(2) before execve(2). This makes exploitation of any separate memory corruption vulnerability in that binary significantly easier. |
| A flaw has been found in Tenda JD12L 16.03.53.23. The impacted element is the function formWifiBasicSet of the file /goform/WifiBasicSet. Executing a manipulation of the argument security_5g can lead to stack-based buffer overflow. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. |
| libssh2 through 1.11.1 reads an attacker-controlled 32-bit attribute count from a publickey-subsystem response and uses it in the allocation num_attrs * sizeof(libssh2_publickey_attribute) without bounds checking, so on 32-bit platforms the multiplication overflows to an undersized buffer. A malicious SSH server can then drive the attribute-parsing loop to write past the allocation, causing a heap buffer overflow in a connecting libssh2 client. |
| Flowise before 3.1.3 validates Custom MCP stdio environment variables against a denylist using a case-sensitive comparison, so on Windows, where environment names are case-insensitive, supplying 'node_options' bypasses the NODE_OPTIONS denylist entry. An authenticated user who can configure a Custom MCP node can thereby inject NODE_OPTIONS --require and execute arbitrary code in the Flowise server context. |
| A vulnerability was found in Tenda JD12L 16.03.53.23. This impacts the function fromNatStaticSetting of the file /goform/NatStaticSetting. The manipulation of the argument page results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. |
| A flaw was found in spice-vdagent. A malicious or compromised SPICE host can trigger an integer overflow by sending a specially crafted message. This vulnerability can lead to a heap buffer overflow, causing the spice-vdagent daemon to crash and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the virtual machine. This issue requires the SPICE host to be untrusted or compromised for exploitation. |
| A vulnerability exists in UEFI implementations that use a hard-coded software-based Platform Key (PK). An attacker in possession of the corresponding PK private key can sign arbitrary UEFI executables or firmware components, causing them to be trusted by affected systems and potentially bypassing UEFI Secure Boot trust validation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sctp: validate cached peer INIT chunk length in COOKIE_ECHO processing
When a listening SCTP server processes a COOKIE_ECHO chunk, the cached
peer INIT chunk embedded after the cookie is parsed and its parameters
are later walked by sctp_process_init() using sctp_walk_params().
However, the chunk header length of this cached INIT chunk was not
validated against the remaining buffer in the COOKIE_ECHO payload. If
the length field is inflated, the parameter walk can run beyond the
actual received data, leading to out-of-bounds reads and potential
memory corruption during later parameter handling (e.g. STATE_COOKIE
processing and kmemdup() copies).
Add a bounds check in sctp_unpack_cookie() to ensure the cached INIT
chunk length does not exceed the available data in the COOKIE_ECHO
buffer before it is used. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/ivpu: Add buffer overflow check in MS get_info_ioctl
Add validation that the info size returned from the metric stream info
query is not exceeded when checked against the allocated buffer size.
If the firmware returns a size larger than the buffer, reject the
operation with -EOVERFLOW instead of proceeding with an incorrect
buffer copy. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/komeda: fix integer overflow in AFBC framebuffer size check
The AFBC framebuffer size validation calculates the minimum required
buffer size by adding the AFBC payload size to the framebuffer offset.
This addition is performed without checking for integer overflow.
If the addition oveflows, the size check may incorrectly succed and
allow userspace to provide an undersized drm_gem_object, potentially
leading to out-of-bounds memory access.
Add usage of check_add_overflow() to safely compute the minimum
required size and reject the framebuffer if an overflow is detected.
This makes the AFBC size validation more robust against malformed.
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: bcmgenet: fix off-by-one in bcmgenet_put_txcb
The write_ptr points to the next open tx_cb. We want to return the
tx_cb that gets rewinded, so we must rewind the pointer first then
return the tx_cb that it points to. That way the txcb can be correctly
cleaned up. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pppoe: drop PFC frames
RFC 2516 Section 7 states that Protocol Field Compression (PFC) is NOT
RECOMMENDED for PPPoE. In practice, pppd does not support negotiating
PFC for PPPoE sessions, and the current PPPoE driver assumes an
uncompressed (2-byte) protocol field. However, the generic PPP layer
function ppp_input() is not aware of the negotiation result, and still
accepts PFC frames.
If a peer with a broken implementation or an attacker sends a frame with
a compressed (1-byte) protocol field, the subsequent PPP payload is
shifted by one byte. This causes the network header to be 4-byte
misaligned, which may trigger unaligned access exceptions on some
architectures.
To reduce the attack surface, drop PPPoE PFC frames. Introduce
ppp_skb_is_compressed_proto() helper function to be used in both
ppp_generic.c and pppoe.c to avoid open-coding. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/mlx5: Fix slab-out-of-bounds in mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list
mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list() sizes its firmware command buffer using
the PF's log_max_current_uc/mc_list capabilities. When querying a VF
vport with a larger configured max (via devlink), the firmware response
can overflow this buffer:

Fix by querying the vport's own HCA caps to size the buffer correctly.
Refactor the function to allocate and return the MAC list internally,
removing the caller's dependency on knowing the correct max. |
