| CVE-2017-1000117 | 2 Git-scm, Redhat | 4 Git, Enterprise Linux, Mobile Application Platform and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| A malicious third-party can give a crafted "ssh://..." URL to an unsuspecting victim, and an attempt to visit the URL can result in any program that exists on the victim's machine being executed. Such a URL could be placed in the .gitmodules file of a malicious project, and an unsuspecting victim could be tricked into running "git clone --recurse-submodules" to trigger the vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2016-5011 | 3 Ibm, Kernel, Redhat | 10 Power Hardware Management Console, Powerkvm, Util-linux and 7 more | 2025-04-20 | 4.6 Medium |
| The parse_dos_extended function in partitions/dos.c in the libblkid library in util-linux allows physically proximate attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a crafted MSDOS partition table with an extended partition boot record at zero offset. | ||||
| CVE-2014-4616 | 5 Opensuse, Opensuse Project, Python and 2 more | 8 Opensuse, Opensuse, Python and 5 more | 2025-04-20 | 5.9 Medium |
| Array index error in the scanstring function in the _json module in Python 2.7 through 3.5 and simplejson before 2.6.1 allows context-dependent attackers to read arbitrary process memory via a negative index value in the idx argument to the raw_decode function. | ||||
| CVE-2017-6009 | 3 Debian, Icoutils Project, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Icoutils, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in icoutils 0.31.1. A buffer overflow was observed in the "decode_ne_resource_id" function in the "restable.c" source file. This is happening because the "len" parameter for memcpy is not checked for size and thus becomes a negative integer in the process, resulting in a failed memcpy. This affects wrestool. | ||||
| CVE-2017-6011 | 3 Debian, Icoutils Project, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Icoutils, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in icoutils 0.31.1. An out-of-bounds read leading to a buffer overflow was observed in the "simple_vec" function in the "extract.c" source file. This affects icotool. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000366 | 8 Debian, Gnu, Mcafee and 5 more | 26 Debian Linux, Glibc, Web Gateway and 23 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| glibc contains a vulnerability that allows specially crafted LD_LIBRARY_PATH values to manipulate the heap/stack, causing them to alias, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. Please note that additional hardening changes have been made to glibc to prevent manipulation of stack and heap memory but these issues are not directly exploitable, as such they have not been given a CVE. This affects glibc 2.25 and earlier. | ||||

| sound/core/timer.c in the Linux kernel before 4.11.5 is vulnerable to a data race in the ALSA /dev/snd/timer driver resulting in local users being able to read information belonging to other users, i.e., uninitialized memory contents may be disclosed when a read and an ioctl happen at the same time. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9263 | 2 Openvswitch, Redhat | 3 Openvswitch, Enterprise Linux, Openstack | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Open vSwitch (OvS) 2.7.0, while parsing an OpenFlow role status message, there is a call to the abort() function for undefined role status reasons in the function `ofp_print_role_status_message` in `lib/ofp-print.c` that may be leveraged toward a remote DoS attack by a malicious switch. | ||||

| The allow_execstack plugin for setroubleshoot allows local users to execute arbitrary commands by triggering an execstack SELinux denial with a crafted filename, related to the commands.getoutput function. | ||||
| CVE-2017-5087 | 5 Apple, Google, Linux and 2 more | 9 Macos, Android, Chrome and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | 8.8 High |
| A use after free in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 59.0.3071.104 for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and 59.0.3071.117 for Android, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page, aka an IndexedDB sandbox escape. | ||||

| Integer overflow in the wrestool program in icoutils before 0.31.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted executable, which triggers a denial of service (application crash) or the possibility of execution of arbitrary code. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000410 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes). | ||||

| CVE-2017-7668 | 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more | 16 Http Server, Mac Os X, Debian Linux and 13 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| The HTTP strict parsing changes added in Apache httpd 2.2.32 and 2.4.24 introduced a bug in token list parsing, which allows ap_find_token() to search past the end of its input string. By maliciously crafting a sequence of request headers, an attacker may be able to cause a segmentation fault, or to force ap_find_token() to return an incorrect value. | ||||
