| A vulnerability in the client provisioning download feature of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access protected files on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of directory traversal character sequences in a user-supplied path when the software processes provisioning resource requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to the provisioning download service. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access protected files without authentication, potentially exposing sensitive information. |

| Traefik versions >= v3.7.0 and <= v3.7.7 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the Kubernetes Ingress NGINX provider's RewriteTarget middleware (generated from the nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/rewrite-target annotation). When an Ingress path uses a regex that captures attacker-controlled text without requiring a path separator (e.g., path /api(.*) with rewrite target /$1), a crafted request such as /api../admin matches the public router, is rewritten to a dot-segment traversal path (/../admin), and is forwarded without post-replacement normalization validation. A backend that normalizes dot segments resolves the path to a protected endpoint (e.g., /admin) reachable only through a separate router secured with BasicAuth, DigestAuth, or ForwardAuth, resulting in route-level authentication bypass. The issue is fixed in v3.7.8. |

| Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.6 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated cluster peers to delete arbitrary directory contents by supplying a traversal-shaped node name in the cluster hello payload without validation. Attackers holding a valid cluster Fernet key can craft a malicious node name and disconnect, triggering the master's peer cleanup routine to remove the contents of arbitrary directories within the Wazuh installation path writable by the wazuh user. |

An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to the web-based management interface of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files and directories on the underlying operating system of the affected device. |

| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, a malicious rule could potentially overwrite any file on the file system on rule load or reload. Versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5 fix the issue. Some workarounds are available. Preprocess `load`+ `save` rules to disallow absolute filenames for save, use Suricata's privilege dropping to limit writable files, and/or configure landlock in suricata.yaml. |
