CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv6: prevent infinite loop in rt6_nlmsg_size()
While testing prior patch, I was able to trigger
an infinite loop in rt6_nlmsg_size() in the following place:
list_for_each_entry_rcu(sibling, &f6i->fib6_siblings,
fib6_siblings) {
rt6_nh_nlmsg_size(sibling->fib6_nh, &nexthop_len);
}
This is because fib6_del_route() and fib6_add_rt2node()
uses list_del_rcu(), which can confuse rcu readers,
because they might no longer see the head of the list.
Restart the loop if f6i->fib6_nsiblings is zero. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv6: fix possible infinite loop in fib6_info_uses_dev()
fib6_info_uses_dev() seems to rely on RCU without an explicit
protection.
Like the prior fix in rt6_nlmsg_size(),
we need to make sure fib6_del_route() or fib6_add_rt2node()
have not removed the anchor from the list, or we risk an infinite loop. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: phy: Don't register LEDs for genphy
If a PHY has no driver, the genphy driver is probed/removed directly in
phy_attach/detach. If the PHY's ofnode has an "leds" subnode, then the
LEDs will be (un)registered when probing/removing the genphy driver.
This could occur if the leds are for a non-generic driver that isn't
loaded for whatever reason. Synchronously removing the PHY device in
phy_detach leads to the following deadlock:
rtnl_lock()
ndo_close()
...
phy_detach()
phy_remove()
phy_leds_unregister()
led_classdev_unregister()
led_trigger_set()
netdev_trigger_deactivate()
unregister_netdevice_notifier()
rtnl_lock()
There is a corresponding deadlock on the open/register side of things
(and that one is reported by lockdep), but it requires a race while this
one is deterministic.
Generic PHYs do not support LEDs anyway, so don't bother registering
them. |
| A missing permission check in Jenkins 2.587 and earlier, LTS 2.580.1 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to obtain the server, port, user name, and no-proxy host list of the configured HTTP proxy. |
| Black is the uncompromising Python code formatter. Prior to 26.10.1, the Black GitHub Action with use_pyproject: true accepts tool.black.required-version from pyproject.toml without validating that it is a released Black version specifier. An attacker who can submit a pull request can change that field to a direct reference to attacker-controlled code, causing the workflow to install and execute the code in the victim repository's GitHub Actions context. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.1. |
| A flaw was found in libxml2. This vulnerability occurs when the library processes a specially crafted XML Schema Definition (XSD) validated document that includes an internal entity reference. An attacker could exploit this by providing a malicious document, leading to a type confusion error that causes the application to crash. This results in a denial of service (DoS), making the affected system or application unavailable. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. A remote attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PAA (Paint Shop Pro Array) image file. This vulnerability, a heap-based out-of-bounds write in the decode_lzss() function of the PAA file format plugin, allows data to be written beyond the intended memory buffer. This could lead to heap metadata corruption and potentially enable the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system. |
| A flaw was found in libcupsfilters. The cfIEEE1284NormalizeMakeModel() function enters an infinite loop when processing a printer-advertised IEEE-1284 device ID with an empty model field, causing sustained CPU consumption. A network-adjacent attacker could exploit this by broadcasting a specially crafted printer advertisement, leading to denial of service. |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible background activity launch due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, GetLatestRevision.php interpolates get_latest_for_id directly into an SQL UPDATE statement. Although securexss() normally entity-encodes quotes, an input prefixed with an XSS payload makes AntiXSS select a processed string instead of the encoded backup, allowing a literal quote to reach the query. A low-privileged user with Documents module access can disclose database data and mass-update linked_documents records, while stacked statements and arbitrary DROP or INSERT operations are not supported by this vector. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2. |
| SQL injection in the push notification handler of the MatchPoint Android app, which processes messages from Firebase Cloud Messaging and constructs queries by concatenating untrusted data. An attacker capable of interacting with the component could manipulate queries and access sensitive information from the local database, including credentials stored in the versions described in the report. The scope of the injection is limited to the device. |
| A flaw was found in the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD). The pam_passkey_child_read_data() function within the PAM passkey responder fails to properly handle raw bytes received from a pipe. Because the data is treated as a NUL-terminated C string without explicit termination, it results in an out-of-bounds read when processed by functions like snprintf(). A local attacker could potentially trigger this vulnerability by initiating a crafted passkey authentication request, causing the SSSD PAM responder to crash, resulting in a local Denial of Service (DoS). |
| OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, library/classes/Controller.class.php allows explicit controller.php dispatch to controllers missing from CONTROLLER_ACL_MAP, and checkControllerAcl() returns without enforcing any permission for those entries. A low-privilege authenticated user can invoke C_X12Partner::edit_action_process() to create or alter insurance-routing hosts and credentials, or invoke C_PatientFinder::find_action_process() to enumerate patient names, dates of birth, and identifiers. The shared fail-open dispatcher root cause also exposes other administrative controllers that were intended to be reached through ACL-gated Practice Settings routes. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0. |
| OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, library/ajax/set_pt.php allows any authenticated user to set an arbitrary patient identifier in the active session without an ACL check, and interface/patient_file/download_template.php trusts that session value while enforcing only CSRF validation. A low-privilege user can select another patient and download a rendered document template containing the patient's demographics, encounter information, allergies, medications, and problem list despite lacking patients/docs access. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0. |
| OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, library/ajax/payment_ajax.php validates a CSRF token but performs no AclMain authorization check before executing a wildcard search of patient_data. Any authenticated user, including a non-clinical role, can enumerate patient identifiers, full names, and dates of birth through the set_patient branch. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0. |
| OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, interface/modules/custom_modules/oe-module-dorn/public/compendium_install.php checks authentication and CSRF but does not require the admin/users ACL enforced by sibling DORN administration scripts. When the DORN module is enabled, a low-privilege authenticated user can supply a labGuid that causes LabCompendiumInstall::uninstall() to delete detail and result procedure types and deactivate order types before the reinstall step. The action can corrupt lab-ordering configuration and require an administrator to restore the compendium. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0. |
| OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, custom/ajax_download.php, custom/download_qrda.php, custom/export_qrda_xml.php, and custom/qrda_download.php validate CSRF but do not enforce the patients/med ACL used by the canonical CQM report page. The endpoints also accept an unscoped report_id, allowing a low-privilege authenticated user to reach report generation and download logic for other reports. In a clinic with generated CQM reports, this can expose QRDA Category One and Category Three clinical documents for patients in a measure. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0. |
| OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, interface/modules/custom_modules/oe-module-weno/scripts/file_download.php has no ACL or CSRF check and ignores the result of validateAdminCredentials(). When the Weno module is enabled, the default GET path calls PharmacyService::removeWenoPharmacies() before attempting a refetch, allowing any authenticated user to truncate the weno_pharmacy table and allowing a cross-site request to trigger the same operation through a logged-in victim. A failed later download can leave the e-prescribing pharmacy directory empty and unavailable. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0. |
| OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, the search_persons action in library/ajax/person_search_ajax.php validates CSRF but does not perform an AclMain authorization check before searching the person and patient_data tables. A low-privilege authenticated user can iterate name prefixes and receive patient first and last names, dates of birth, gender, phone numbers, and email addresses in JSON responses. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0. |
| Cronicle is a multi-server task scheduler and runner, with a web based front-end UI. Prior to 0.9.124, an authenticated non-admin with run_events, create_events, or edit_events privilege can supply undeclared keys in event params through api_create_event, api_update_event, or api_run_event. lib/api.js and lib/api/event.js validate the parameter object without restricting its keys, and lib/job.js uppercases those keys and applies them to the child process environment after administrator-defined plugin variables. A key that collides with a security-sensitive environment variable can therefore override the plugin execution context and may cause privilege escalation, arbitrary code execution, data access, or service disruption depending on the plugin and runtime. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.124. |
