CVSS v3.1 |
| A buffer overflow flaw was found in X.Org and Xwayland. The code in XkbVModMaskText() allocates a fixed-sized buffer on the stack and copies the names of the virtual modifiers to that buffer. The code fails to check the bounds of the buffer and would copy the data regardless of the size. |
| [This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the
text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.]
A common access pattern is a batch of Grant Copy operations acting on
adjacent address ranges in the same source or destination page. For
performance reasons, Xen caches details internally to reuse already
validated data. The conditions on when to re-validate the internal data
were not correct in some cases:
- Frame numbers and grant references could wrongly be mixed up. This
is CVE-2026-102703.
- Copying by frame number (rather than grant reference) is permitted
only when operating on the caller's own memory. The check to enforce
this restriction was misplaced. This is CVE-2026-102704. |
| A flaw was found in Samba, in the front-end WINS hook handling: NetBIOS names from registration packets are passed to a shell without proper validation or escaping. Unsanitized NetBIOS name data from WINS registration packets are inserted into a shell command and executed by the Samba Active Directory Domain Controller’s wins hook, allowing an unauthenticated network attacker to achieve remote command execution as the Samba process. |
| A flaw was found in grub2. During the network boot process, when trying to search for the configuration file, grub copies data from a user controlled environment variable into an internal buffer using the grub_strcpy() function. During this step, it fails to consider the environment variable length when allocating the internal buffer, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. If correctly exploited, this issue may result in remote code execution through the same network segment grub is searching for the boot information, which can be used to by-pass secure boot protections. |
| A command injection flaw was found in the text editor Emacs. It could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on a vulnerable system. Exploitation is possible by tricking users into visiting a specially crafted website or an HTTP URL with a redirect. |
| A flaw was found in the QEMU disk image utility (qemu-img) 'info' command. A specially crafted image file containing a `json:{}` value describing block devices in QMP could cause the qemu-img process on the host to consume large amounts of memory or CPU time, leading to denial of service or read/write to an existing external file. |
| Zulip is an open-source team collaboration tool. In Zulip Server versions through 12.1, the authenticated POST /messages/render endpoint renders the content parameter without enforcing the normal message length limit used by message send and edit operations. An authenticated user can submit Markdown up to the server body-size limit, causing disproportionate backend CPU consumption, and repeated or concurrent requests can degrade Markdown rendering performance or backend availability for other users. This issue is fixed in version 12.2. |
| The Simple CAPTCHA with Cloudflare Turnstile plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' attribute of the [gravity-simple-turnstile] shortcode in versions up to, and including, 1.44.3 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the shortcode attribute in the cfturnstile_gravity_shortcode() function: the value is filtered only by esc_html() and sanitize_text_field() (neither of which touches parentheses or dots) and then emitted via esc_js() in a raw JavaScript expression context outside any string literal (esc_js only escapes quotes, backslashes, and newlines). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| An integer overflow vulnerability in the WebSocket connection handling used by WatchGuard Fireware OS's Access Portal allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to write beyond the bounds of a heap buffer by sending a specially crafted request while the Access Portal feature is enabled. |
| Improper access control in the Patch
Management update mechanism of TeamViewer Full Client and Host for Windows
prior to version 15.82 allows a local authenticated attacker with low
privileges to supply a signed executable through a forged IPC response and
cause it to load a malicious DLL from a user-writable temporary directory.
Successful exploitation results in arbitrary code execution with NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges. |
| An external control of file path vulnerability in a WatchGuard Fireware OS firewall diagnostic command allows a remote, authenticated attacker with at least read-only (Device Monitor) privileges and access to the management CLI to create, truncate, or overwrite arbitrary files and modify kernel parameters with root privileges by submitting a specially crafted command. Written content is limited to numeric values. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Fireware OS certd process allows an authenticated attacker with access to the Firebox management interface to crash the certificate management service and potentially execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted request. |
| Abusing the federated share endpoint, an attacker can write arbitrary rows into the oc_share_external database table. These rows persist indefinitely — there is no automatic cleanup mechanism. Three distinct denial-of-service conditions follow from this write primitive, all triggered from the same unauthenticated source and all self-renewing on a 24-hour cycle for as long as the injected rows remain in the database. |
| Tanium addressed an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in Enforce. |
| Tanium addressed a denial of service vulnerability in Enforce. |
| The Slim Jetpack plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'g<PAGE_ID>-website (Website contact-field)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The nonce and authentication checks on form submission are only enforced for logged-in users, allowing unauthenticated visitors to store payloads via any page containing the [contact-form] shortcode. |
| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Fireware OS authentication service allows an attacker who controls or intercepts traffic to the configured Active Directory server to create a denial of service condition and potentially execute arbitrary code by returning a specially crafted response. |
| Motor.NET before 0.19.0 contains a denial-of-service vulnerability that allows a remote attacker who can produce records to a consumed topic to crash the service permanently by sending a single crafted record. By setting the content-type header to application/cloudevents+json and omitting required CloudEvent attributes (id, source, type), the attacker triggers an ArgumentException in KafkaMessageConsumer.SingleMessageHandlingAsync that is treated as fatal, causing the host to stop and re-process the same poison record on every restart, resulting in a permanent crash-loop. |
| A malicious X server could cause a heap overflow by injecting a large DEVICE_ENABLE reply when processed by libXi before 1.8.4. |
| A buffer overflow when handling DEVICE_RESOLUTION in libXi before 1.8.4 could overflow a heap, triggered by a malicious X server. |
