CVSS v3.1 |
| Buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Contec RP-WAH-SR Series. If a remote attacker sends a specially crafted request to the product's web service, an arbitrary program may be executed. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Remote I/O Coupler Unit (Server Type) CPSN-MCB271-*. Receiving a specially crafted request created and sent by a remote attacker may cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |
| ASRock Polychrome SYNC/RGB software utility developed by ASRock Inc. has an Improper Access Control vulnerability. Authenticated local attackers can send a specially crafted IOCTL request to cause the driver to write to improperly restricted I/O ports, resulting in a forced operating system reboot. |
| Yayson is a library for serializing and reading JSON API data in JavaScript. Prior to 4.3.0, Store and LegacyStore use attacker-controlled JSON:API type, id, and relationship names as keys in plain-object lookup tables in src/yayson/store.ts and src/yayson/legacy-store.ts. A document whose type is __proto__ causes model-cache writes to modify Object.prototype, with the attacker controlling the polluted property name through id and its value through attributes. The malicious type can also be supplied by an included resource, and LegacyStore is reachable when a configured types mapping resolves to __proto__. Unsafe relationship names including __proto__, constructor, and prototype provide additional document-derived member paths. The resulting process-wide prototype pollution can cause denial of service and logic corruption; authorization bypass or code execution depends on suitable gadgets in the consuming application. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0. |
| gettext-converter provides gettext resource conversion utilities for JavaScript. Prior to 1.3.3, js2i18next() in lib/js2i18next.js splits nested translation keys using options.keyseparator, whose default value consists of two number signs, and uses each segment as a dynamic object key without rejecting __proto__, constructor, or prototype. When an application converts untrusted PO or i18next translation data, a __proto__ segment resolves Object.prototype as the nested write target and Object.assign writes attacker-controlled translated properties onto the process-wide prototype. The resulting prototype pollution can cause denial of service and may enable application-dependent follow-on attacks. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.3. |
| flat-to-nested converts a hierarchy from a flat representation to a nested representation. Prior to 1.1.2, FlatToNested.prototype.convert in index.js uses attacker-influenced id and parent record fields directly as keys in the plain temp and pendingChildOf objects. When parent or id is __proto__, temp[parent] can resolve to Object.prototype, and initPush() can write attacker-controlled data to the global children prototype property while existing prototype methods remain intact. Any application that passes attacker-influenced flat records to convert() can therefore expose unrelated objects to polluted inherited state, causing application-logic corruption or denial of service and potentially enabling greater impact when a downstream prototype-pollution gadget is present. The constructor and prototype strings are also unsafe inherited-key values in the same lookup design. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.2. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Enterprise Policies component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3. |
| Memory Corruption when multiple threads issue concurrent IOCTL requests to the device control handler due to improper synchronization and race conditions. |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 HTTP Decoder that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the disclosure of possible sensitive data or cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash.
This vulnerability is due to an error in the logic of buffer handling when the MIME fields of the HTTP header are parsed. This can result in a buffer under-read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection that is parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to induce one of two possible outcomes: the unexpected restarting of the Snort 3 Detection Engine, which could cause a denial of service (DoS) condition, or information disclosure of sensitive information in the Snort 3 data stream. Due to the under-read condition, it is possible that sensitive information that is not valid connection data could be returned. |
| A vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco IOS Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with low privileges to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted URL in an HTTP request. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. |
| Improper Output Neutralization for Logs vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge application log entries by submitting a password reset identity containing newlines or control characters.
AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.RequestPasswordReset.run/3 interpolates the identity argument, the email or username taken straight from the reset request, into its Logger.warning/1 heredocs without escaping, truncating or type-restricting it. The resource logged beside it is passed through inspect/1, which would have neutralized the value. A newline in the identity therefore ends the log record, and everything after it is written as a line of its own, so an attacker chooses the severity tag and the content of entries that appear to have come from the application.
This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.2.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14. |
| A malformed zone may contain an NS or DNAME node above its origin, which `named` treats as a zone cut. If an attacker inserts a malformed zone into a BIND authoritative server (e.g., via zone transfer), queries for names inside the configured zone then lose authoritative status and return an out-of-zone delegation. On a server that also provides recursion BIND can follow this locally sourced cut and cache attacker-supplied data, affecting names outside the configured zone. This situation persists as long as the malformed zone remains in the zone database.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.21.0 through 9.21.25, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1. |
| If an attacker-controlled authoritative server can produce a negative answer that is exactly 65536 bytes, then a flaw in `named` results in a negative cache entry of 0 bytes. When this entry is subsequently read, `named` aborts.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.21.0 through 9.21.25, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1. |
