| gitoxide's gix-url crate (<= 0.32.0, fixed in 0.37.1) uses a hand-rolled URL parser that does not treat '?' or '#' as terminating the authority component, contrary to RFC 3986. As a consequence, gix-transport's HTTP redirect identity guard (can_reuse_identity) compares the wrong host and fails open. An attacker controlling a redirect response can craft a Location header of the form <attacker-authority>?@<original-authority> so that gitoxide sends the caller's HTTP Basic Authorization credentials to an unintended host. gix-transport is affected in versions <= 0.49.0 (fixed in 0.58.1). |

| The official Flair wheels for 0.15.0 and 0.15.1 still contain flair/models/clustering.py, whose ClusteringModel.load static method returns pickle.loads(joblib.load(str(model_file))) and so executes arbitrary Python while loading a model file. Loading a model supplied by an attacker therefore runs that attacker's code with the privileges of the loading process. This is the same sink and the same file as CVE-2024-10073, which records 0.15.0 as the fixed version on the basis that clustering support was dropped in that release; the module was removed from the documented API but remains present in the distributed artifact and reachable by importing flair.models.clustering directly, so the earlier record's fixed version does not hold for the shipped package. |

| The tar extraction routines in moby/go-archive (Unpack, UnpackLayer, Untar/UntarUncompressed, and the ApplyLayer helpers) do not confine filesystem operations to the destination directory. The extractor decides where each archive entry lands using lexical string checks and then performs the filesystem operation on a path that is resolved by the OS, so links introduced by the archive can be followed out of the destination directory. An attacker who controls the contents of an archive can create or overwrite files at arbitrary paths writable by the extracting process. |
| Catalyst::Plugin::Static::Simple versions through 0.38 for Perl mark responses as publicly cacheable.
The _serve_static method always sets the Cache-Control header to "public", with no means of overriding it. This advises proxies that the content may be stored in a shared cache, and may be reused in responses to requests from other users. (This includes requests with an Authorization header.)
Configuring the expires time to "0" to disable caching, as documented, is ignored. |
| Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the automatic image-download feature accepts file:// URLs in a note's img tags and reads the referenced local file with no path validation, allowing any authenticated user to disclose arbitrary files readable by the Trilium process. When a text note is saved, Trilium scans its HTML for image sources and downloads each external one; because the HTML sanitizer keeps file as an allowed scheme, a source such as file:///etc/passwd is passed straight to a filesystem read and its contents are stored as a note attachment the user can then retrieve. Pointing the same primitive at an unbounded source such as /dev/zero causes uncontrolled memory allocation that crashes the server process. The feature is enabled by default and is reachable through the web UI, the ETAPI, the web clipper, and note imports, requiring only an authenticated session or an ETAPI token. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0 |

Attackers can create a malicious repository with a symlinked .gitmodules pointing outside the repository tree, causing gitoxide to parse arbitrary external files as submodule configuration and expose attacker-controlled name, path, and url values. |
