CVSS v3.1 |
| The Toshiba printers provide several ways to upload files using the web interface without authentication. An attacker can overwrite any insecure files. And the Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. The programs can be replaced by malicious programs by any local or remote attacker. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) One Boot Flash Update (Intel(R) OFU) software before version 14.1.31 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
Incorrect default permissions for the Intel(R) Processor Identification Utility before version 8.0.43 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable local code execution.
Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability was discovered in Open Design Alliance CDE inWEB SDK before 2025.3. Installing CDE Server with default settings allows unauthorized users to visit prometheus metrics page. This can allow attackers to understand more things about the target application which may help in further investigation and exploitation.
A vulnerability was found in Sonarr 4.0.15.2940. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file C:\ProgramData\Sonarr\bin\Sonarr.Console.exe of the component Service. Performing manipulation results in incorrect default permissions. The attack is only possible with local access. The vendor confirms this vulnerability but classifies it as a "low severity issue due to the default service user being used as it would either require someone to intentionally change the service to a highly privileged account or an attacker would need an admin level account". It is planned to fix this issue in the next major release v5.
Omnissa Horizon Client for macOS contains a Local privilege escalation (LPE) Vulnerability due to a flaw in the installation process. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow attackers with user privileges to escalate their privileges to root on the system where the Horizon Client for macOS is installed.
extcap/nrf_sniffer_ble.py, extcap/nrf_sniffer_ble.sh, extcap/SnifferAPI/*.py in Nordic Semiconductor nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE 3.0.0, 3.1.0, 4.0.0, 4.1.0, and 4.1.1 have set incorrect file permission, which allows attackers to do code execution via modified bash and python scripts.
Incorrect default permissions in the AMD Integrated Management Technology (AIM-T) Manageability Service installation directory could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
The Datadog Agent collects events and metrics from hosts and sends them to Datadog. A vulnerability within the Datadog Linux Host Agent versions 7.65.0 through 7.70.2 exists due to insufficient permissions being set on the `opt/datadog-agent/python-scripts/__pycache__` directory during installation. Code in this directory is only run by the Agent during Agent install/upgrades. This could allow an attacker with local access to modify files in this directory, which would then subsequently be run when the Agent is upgraded, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue requires local access to the host and a valid low privilege account to be vulnerable. Note that this vulnerability only impacts the Linux Host Agent. Other variations of the Agent including the container, kubernetes, windows host and other agents are not impacted. Version 7.71.0 contains a patch for the issue.
The Claude SDK for Python provides access to the Claude API from Python applications. From version 0.86.0 to before version 0.87.0, the local filesystem memory tool in the Anthropic Python SDK created memory files with mode 0o666, leaving them world-readable on systems with a standard umask and world-writable in environments with a permissive umask such as many Docker base images. A local attacker on a shared host could read persisted agent state, and in containerized deployments could modify memory files to influence subsequent model behavior. Both the synchronous and asynchronous memory tool implementations were affected. This issue has been patched in version 0.87.0.
Incorrect default permissions in .NET allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
| Samsung MagicINFO 9 Server Incorrect Default Permissions Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
This issue affects MagicINFO 9 Server: less than 21.1091.1. |
Sensitive information disclosure due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (Windows) before build 40713, Acronis True Image OEM (Windows) before build 42575.
The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.5 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to higher-level roles such as administrator.
The Anonymous Restricted Content plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.5 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to logged-in users.
The ProfilePress Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.11.1. This is due to insufficient verification on the user being returned by the social login token. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user on the site, such as an administrator, if they have access to the email and the user does not have an already-existing account for the service returning the token.
The Ruby One Time Password library (ROTP) is an open source library for generating and validating one time passwords. Affected versions had overly permissive default permissions. Users should patch to version 6.3.0. Users unable to patch may correct file permissions after installation.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional sandbox restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.4, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, macOS Ventura 13.7.5. "Block All Remote Content" may not apply for all mail previews.
This issue was addressed through improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6, macOS Sonoma 14.6, visionOS 1.3. A file received from AirDrop may not have the quarantine flag applied.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.2, macOS Sonoma 14.7.2, macOS Ventura 13.7.2. A malicious app may be able to gain root privileges.
