CVE-2026-99220 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: asymmetric_keys: reject trust keys without IDs The PKCS#8 parser deliberately leaves the asym_key_ids payload slot empty. key_or_keyring_common() unconditionally dereferences that slot when a PKCS#8 key is supplied to a key_or_keyring restriction. Both the plain and :chain forms reach this branch, allowing an unprivileged caller to trigger a NULL pointer dereference through KEYCTL_RESTRICT_KEYRING followed by add_key(). Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xdffffc0000000000 KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000000-0x0000000000000007] RIP: 0010:key_or_keyring_common (crypto/asymmetric_keys/restrict.c:205 crypto/asymmetric_keys/restrict.c:279) Call Trace: <TASK> __key_create_or_update (security/keys/key.c:884) key_create_or_update (security/keys/key.c:1021) __do_sys_add_key (security/keys/keyctl.c:134) do_syscall_64 (arch/x86/entry/common.c:52 arch/x86/entry/common.c:83) entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe (arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:130) </TASK> Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception Reject an asymmetric restriction key without key IDs. CVE-2026-113906 1 Apple 3 Ios And Ipados, Ipados, Iphone Os 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
A null pointer dereference was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. An attacker in physical proximity may be able to cause a denial-of-service.
CVE-2026-99245 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KEYS: Fix key_reject_and_link() race with keyring restriction The restrict_link check in key_reject_and_link() is done before taking the keyring semaphore, racing with a concurrent keyring_restrict() that installs the restriction while holding the semaphore in write mode. Move the check to after __key_link_lock(), so it is done under the semaphore, matching the pattern used in __key_create_or_update().
CVE-2026-115297 1 Elastic 1 Packetbeat 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
NULL Pointer Dereference (CWE-476) in the AMQP protocol parser in Packetbeat can lead to denial of service via specially crafted network traffic. An unauthenticated attacker who can send traffic on a network segment that Packetbeat monitors for AMQP can cause a Go runtime panic that terminates the Packetbeat process. A single crafted packet is sufficient. No AMQP authentication is necessary. While Packetbeat is not running, it does not collect network telemetry.
CVE-2026-76166 1 Redhat 7 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Expansion Pack, Jboss Enterprise Web Server and 4 more 2026-11-03 4.3 Medium
A flaw was found in mod_cluster's AdvertiseListenerImpl (org.jboss.modcluster core module). A single crafted UDP multicast datagram with a valid HTTP status line and a "Server:" header but without the "Date:", "Digest:", and "Sequence:" headers triggers a NullPointerException in verifyDigest() that is not caught by the worker thread's exception handler. This causes the advertise listener thread to terminate permanently. The failure is silent (isListening() continues to return true) and persists until the node is restarted. The crash occurs before the AdvertiseSecurityKey comparison, so deployments with a configured security key are still affected.
CVE-2026-121401 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-11-03 4.3 Medium
FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability where rdg_process_packet dispatches a PKT_TYPE_EXTENDED_AUTH_MSG without verifying negotiated mode or auth context. A malicious or compromised RD Gateway can send the extended-auth packet before tunnel authentication, triggering a null-pointer dereference that crashes the client.
CVE-2026-118778 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-11-03 5.9 Medium
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), c.session.serverCertificate, RSA key exchange to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's TLS client checked the wrong property when deciding whether a server certificate was missing. A malicious TLS server or on-path peer could omit the Certificate message and reach code that dereferenced the absent certificate, causing an uncaught exception and terminating the connection or process. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-43603 2026-11-03 N/A
A NULL pointer dereference in the Linux GPU driver could potentially lead to a kernel crash and result in denial of service.
CVE-2026-121402 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability that allows malicious RDP servers to crash xfreerdp clients by sending a zero-width RDPGFX ResetGraphics PDU. The failed resize in gdi_resize_ex leaves the primary display null without ending the session, so a later bitmap update crashes the client in gdi_Bitmap_Paint.
CVE-2026-82946 1 Rt-labs Ab 1 Soem 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
SOEM version 2.0.0 and earlier contains a vulnerability where a malicious device can crash the master system. When the software receives an error response, it clears an internal pointer but continues processing. If another message arrives before timeout, the software attempts to use the cleared pointer, causing a crash. An attacker can trigger this with a simple sequence of two messages.
CVE-2026-116740 1 Netsurf-browser 1 Libcss 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
libcss through 0.9.2 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in mq_parse_media_query() that allows remote attackers to crash consumers by supplying media lists ending in a comma. Attackers can serve a stylesheet whose @media or @import media list has a trailing comma, causing NetSurf or other parsers to crash.
CVE-2026-116497 3 Gssproxy Project, Red Hat, Redhat 5 Gssproxy, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-11-03 5.5 Medium
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability was found in gssproxy. When a GSSX_INIT_SEC_CONTEXT request is received with the target_name field absent, the daemon dereferences the resulting NULL pointer and crashes. The request requires no authentication, allowing any local user to crash the gssproxy daemon via its Unix socket. The daemon does not automatically restart, resulting in a persistent denial of service that also affects dependent services such as Kerberized NFS and IdM.
CVE-2026-99257 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: shared: gracefully handle no-device lookup of shared GPIOs We use platform lookup tables for shared GPIOs. This mechanism needs a struct device to work so fwnode-based lookup with no device associated currently causes a NULL-pointer deference. Adding this functionality will require a larger rework and it has never worked anyway so add a check that allows the kernel to gracefully handle this situation with an error ahead of implementing that functionality as a new feature.
CVE-2026-99247 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Do not initialize tracefs work if tracing is disabled If trace buffer allocation fails during early boot (e.g. in early_trace_init() -> allocate_trace_buffers()), tracing_disabled is left set to 1 and the global trace array events list remains uninitialized. Later during boot, tracer_init_tracefs() (invoked via fs_initcall) queues tracerfs_init_work asynchronously without checking if tracing was disabled. When tracer_init_tracefs_work_func() runs, it calls event_trace_init() and init_tracer_tracefs(&global_trace, NULL) unconditionally. This leads to __find_event_file() dereferencing an uninitialized tr->events list, causing an early boot NULL pointer dereference Oops: BUG: Kernel NULL pointer dereference on read at 0x00000010 Faulting instruction address: 0xc000000000485be0 Oops: Kernel access of bad area, sig: 7 [#1] ... CVE-2026-119842 2 Red Hat, Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GStreamer's gst-plugins-base MicroDVD subtitle parser. When processing a specially crafted subtitle file, the parser may dereference a NULL pointer, causing the application to crash when a user opens or plays media with a malformed MicroDVD (.sub) subtitle file.
CVE-2026-99072 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-03 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: stop route notification sizing when nexthop group shrinks Commit 680aea08e78c ("net: ipv4: Emit notification when fib hardware flags are changed") added an RCU-only fib_nlmsg_size() call for asynchronous hardware flag notifications. fib_nlmsg_size() checks fib_info_num_path() before each iteration, then fib_info_nhc() independently reloads nh->nh_grp. If RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replaces a group with fewer paths between those loads, fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and fib_nexthop_nlmsg_size() dereferences it. Stop sizing when the indexed path is absent. Nexthop groups are dense, so the current snapshot has no later path.
CVE-2026-115403 1 Eclipse 1 Threadx 2026-11-02 N/A
In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, built with BSD raw socket and IPv6 support, the IPv6 raw send path uses the destination-table entry it adds without checking that the add succeeded. When the destination table is full and an off-link destination is reached through a default router whose neighbour cache entry is unknown, sending on an IPv6 raw socket with header inclusion dereferences a NULL pointer; a remote sender can fill the table, for example with ICMPv6 Packet Too Big messages, and crash the sending thread.
