CVE-2026-105783 1 Laurent 22 1 Joplin 2026-10-06 8 High
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.13, when Joplin Desktop is running with the opt-in Web Clipper server enabled, the server in packages/lib/ClipperServer.ts sends Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * and allows an arbitrary website to call POST /auth and GET /auth/check because the pairing endpoints do not reject HTTP or HTTPS origins. The desktop confirmation dialog does not identify the requesting origin, so a victim who approves the generic prompt authorizes the attacking page, which then receives the permanent API token. The token provides ongoing read and write access to notes, folders, tags, resources, and master keys. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.13.
CVE-2026-105784 1 Laurent 22 1 Joplin 2026-10-06 4.6 Medium
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.13, selecting a note containing a jsoncanvas fence causes the whiteboard text and file-node components in packages/app-desktop/gui/NoteEditor/NoteBody/WhiteboardEditor/nodes/TextNode.tsx and packages/app-desktop/gui/NoteEditor/NoteBody/WhiteboardEditor/nodes/FileNode.tsx to render card content with the full Markdown renderer. The components insert the resulting HTML into the main application document through dangerouslySetInnerHTML. A malicious note can inject style elements and remote CSS imports that modify trusted application chrome, signal when the note is opened, and potentially disclose exposed attribute values. Content Security Policy blocks inline script execution, so the supported impact is CSS injection and UI redressing rather than code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.13.
CVE-2026-105786 1 Laurent 22 1 Joplin 2026-10-06 N/A
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.13, packages/server/src/models/ApplicationModel.ts accepts a caller-chosen application authorization identifier, applications/:id/confirm binds that identifier to a logged-in user through a generic consent page, and the public packages/server/src/routes/api/application_auth.ts endpoint passes it to ApplicationModel.createAppPassword without authenticating or binding the redeemer. An attacker can cause a victim to approve the attacker's identifier, redeem a durable application ID and password, and exchange the credential for a victim session with full read and write access to synchronized data. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.13.
CVE-2026-104031 3 Red Hat, Redhat, Sssd 5 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more 2026-10-06 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in SSSD. In configurations where the autofs responder service is enabled, memory allocated during successful request processing is not released until the client connection terminates. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by maintaining an open connection and repeatedly submitting valid requests, leading to memory exhaustion and a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2026-86128 1 Watchguard 2 Fireware, Fireware Os 2026-10-06 7.5 High
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in Fireware OS's NetFlow packet-processing feature allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted IPv6 packet.
CVE-2026-86131 1 Watchguard 2 Fireware, Fireware Os 2026-10-06 9.8 Critical
A code injection vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS's BOVPN Over TLS client configuration handling allows an attacker who controls the remote VPN server to execute arbitrary commands as root on the connecting Firebox.
CVE-2026-86132 1 Watchguard 2 Fireware, Fireware Os 2026-10-06 7.5 High
An integer underflow vulnerability in the WatchGuard Fireware OS IKEv2 daemon (iked) allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to crash the process by sending a specially crafted encrypted IKEv2 message negotiated with an AES-GCM cipher suite.
CVE-2026-19027 1 Hdfgroup 1 Hdf5 2026-10-06 5.6 Medium
The H5Z__nbit_decompress_one_byte, H5Z__nbit_decompress_one_nooptype, and H5Z__nbit_decompress_one_atomic functions in H5Znbit.c in HDF5 prior to 2.3.0 advance a read index into the compressed chunk buffer without bounding it against the buffer's actual size. This allows attackers to cause an out-of-bounds heap read, and in constrained cases disclosure of adjacent heap memory into decompressed dataset values, via a crafted HDF5 file whose N-Bit filter parameters describe more decompressed data than the stored compressed chunk actually contains, triggered via H5Dread, e.g. by the h5ls or h5repack tools.
CVE-2026-19028 1 Hdfgroup 1 Hdf5 2026-10-06 5.5 Medium
H5Z__filter_fletcher32 in H5Zfletcher32.c in HDF5 prior to 2.3.0 computes the data length to checksum by subtracting the 4-byte trailing checksum size from the input buffer size without checking that the buffer is at least 4 bytes, allowing a size_t underflow. This allows attackers to cause a denial of service (massively out-of-bounds read and application crash in H5_checksum_fletcher32) via a crafted HDF5 file with a Fletcher32-filtered chunk smaller than 4 bytes, triggered via H5Dread, e.g. by the h5ls or h5dump tools.
CVE-2026-19026 1 Hdfgroup 1 Hdf5 2026-10-06 5.5 Medium
H5Z__filter_nbit in H5Znbit.c in HDF5 prior to 2.3.0 dereferences cd_values[0] through cd_values[4] without validating that cd_values is non-NULL or that cd_nelmts is at least 5, the fixed size of the filter's header. This allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted HDF5 file that stores the N-Bit filter pipeline message with zero client-data values, opened and read via H5Dread, e.g. by the h5ls or h5repack tools.
CVE-2026-98273 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-06 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/kprobes: Fix crash when probing CS CALL instructions When using eBPF to probe CS CALL instructions within a function, a crash can be triggered. The eBPF tool probes offset 257 of the __hrtimer_run_queues() function: <__hrtimer_run_queues+249>: nopl 0x0(%rax,%rax,1) <__hrtimer_run_queues+254>: mov %r14,%rdi <__hrtimer_run_queues+257>: cs call <__x86_indirect_thunk_r12> <__hrtimer_run_queues+263>: mov %eax,%r12d <__hrtimer_run_queues+266>: xchg %ax,%ax <__hrtimer_run_queues+268>: mov %r13,%rdi Which triggers this crash: BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: 00000000000f41c9 #PF: supervisor write access in kernel mode #PF: error_code(0x0002) - not-present page PGD 0 P4D 0 Oops: 0002 [#1] SMP NOPTI CPU: 1 PID: 0 Comm: swapper/1 Kdump: loaded Tainted: P RIP: 0010:__hrtimer_run_queues+0x106/0x230 Note that __hrtimer_run_queues+0x106 is __hrtimer_run_queues+262, which is at the 6th byte of the above CS CALL instruction. Since the CS CALL instruction occupies 6 bytes, the exception occurred in the middle of that call instruction. The root cause is that when using eBPF tools to probe in the middle of a function, a kprobe with INT3 is used as the underlying implementation. During single-step emulation of the original CALL instruction, int3_emulate_call() assumes that the probed CALL instruction is 5 bytes long. However, the actual CS-prefixed CALL instruction occupies 6 bytes, so it constructs an incorrect exception return address. When the CPU returns from the kprobe handler, the next instruction to be executed is at the address of the last byte of that CS CALL instruction. Coincidentally, starting from that address, the CPU fetches and decodes a completely different instruction, which ultimately triggers a kernel crash. Fix the issue by using the actual instruction length obtained from the instruction decoder when constructing the exception return address, rather than relying on the hardcoded CALL_INSN_SIZE macro. CVE-2026-98278 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: remove WARN_ON_ONCE() from the dev_fill_forward_path() loop check ipip_fill_forward_path() and ip6_tnl_fill_forward_path() look up the route to the tunnel's remote endpoint and set ctx->dev to its device, which is the tunnel itself when that route resolves back to the tunnel. dev_fill_forward_path() then makes no progress and trips WARN_ON_ONCE(last_dev == ctx->dev) as soon as a flowtable tries to offload a flow through the tunnel. That routing loop is a configuration any CAP_NET_ADMIN user can set up, and ip_tunnel_xmit() and ip6_tnl_xmit() already treat it as a tx error, so remove the warning and just fail the walk, as commit 008e7a7c293b ("net: remove WARN_ON_ONCE when accessing forward path array") did for the path stack overflow.
CVE-2026-98285 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: vlan: fix bugs caused by switchdev deletion errors Allowing switchdev to prevent vlan deletion and error out in __vlan_del could cause multiple different issues - inconsistent state, memory leaks when flushing, NULL pointer dereference on bridge error when flushing. It doesn't make sense to allow it to stop __vlan_del, so log the error and continue with software vlan deletion. This is also consistent with 8021q behaviour.
CVE-2026-105572 2 Pickmall, Pickmall Lilishop 2 Lilishop, Pickmall Lilishop 2026-10-06 4.3 Medium
A vulnerability has been found in PickMall Lilishop up to 4.2.4. This affects an unknown function of the file /buyer/trade/receipt of the component Buyer Invoice List. Such manipulation of the argument memberId leads to authorization bypass. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
CVE-2026-98265 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-06 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Clamp implicit feedback packet count to URB capacity data_ep_set_params() allocates each data URB for exactly u->packets isochronous frames, so urb->iso_frame_desc[] has u->packets slots and ctx->packets is the driver's only record of that limit. For an implicit feedback sink, snd_usb_queue_pending_output_urbs() overwrites it with the sync source's packet count, which is calculated independently from the capture endpoint's parameters. When that count is larger, prepare_playback_urb() and prepare_silent_urb() can write iso_frame_desc[] past the allocation; their existing bounds limit payload bytes, not the descriptor index. The reproducer uses a high-speed UAC2 device declaring bInterval 1 for implicit feedback capture (8 packets) and bInterval 4 for playback (1 packet). On the first capture completion after the stream starts, it accesses seven descriptors spanning 112 bytes beyond the one-packet URB: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in prepare_playback_urb (sound/usb/pcm.c:1560) Write of size 4 at addr ffff88801e696ad0 by task vhci_rx/178 prepare_playback_urb (sound/usb/pcm.c:1560) prepare_outbound_urb (sound/usb/endpoint.c:340) snd_usb_queue_pending_output_urbs (sound/usb/endpoint.c:501) snd_complete_urb (sound/usb/endpoint.c:1834) __usb_hcd_giveback_urb (drivers/usb/core/hcd.c:1657) usb_hcd_giveback_urb (drivers/usb/core/hcd.c:1741) vhci_rx_loop (drivers/usb/usbip/vhci_rx.c:107) kthread (kernel/kthread.c:436) The buggy address belongs to the object at ffff88801e696a00 which belongs to the cache kmalloc-256 of size 256 The buggy address is located 0 bytes to the right of allocated 208-byte region [ffff88801e696a00, ffff88801e696ad0) Record the allocated packet count per endpoint and clamp both the adopted count and the packet-size copy to it. Fold the Format Type II delimiter into urb_packs before the allocation loop so the recorded limit matches every URB.
CVE-2026-98268 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix null pointer access in is_include_guest_event() A typical module unload occurring event when there is an active perf connection leads to freeing of the pmu pointer. The call log is something like: .. __pmu_detach_event pmu_detach_event pmu_detach_events perf_pmu_unregister .. __pmu_detach_event() sets event->pmu to null. When the perf connection finally is closed, the following stack trace is observed: Oops: general protection fault, kernel NULL pointer dereference ... RIP: 0010:_free_event+0x3e/0x370 ... Call Trace: ... perf_event_release_kernel+0x260/0x2d0 perf_release+0x12/0x20 A call to mediated_pmu_unaccount_event() inside _free_event() is the root cause of this crash. Adding a check inside is_include_guest_event() ensures we don't accidentally access a null pmu ptr. In addition to this, we will now call mediated_pmu_unaccount_event() before clearing the pmu ptr so that nr_include_guest_events counts are maintained correctly.
CVE-2026-98350 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-06 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: cyw: pass PMKID to firmware if present Zero out auth_status on initialization. Otherwise, garbage will leak from the stack to the firmware (when ssid is less than 32 bytes and/or when params->pmkid is set). Then, pass the params->pmkid to the firmware (without it, the firmware caches a garbage PMKID on successful authentication and denies a subsequent association request that includes the PMKID).
CVE-2026-86133 1 Watchguard 2 Fireware, Fireware Os 2026-10-06 7.5 High
An integer underflow vulnerability in the WatchGuard Fireware OS IKE daemon (iked) allows a remote attacker who has completed the initial IKEv2 handshake to crash the iked process by sending a specially crafted encrypted IKEv2 message, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-86136 1 Watchguard 2 Fireware, Fireware Os 2026-10-06 8.1 High
A missing authorization vulnerability in the wgagent management daemon's session initialization function allows an authenticated, low-privileged user (including a read-only or guest administrator account) to crash the wgagent process and read arbitrary files accessible to the daemon by submitting a specially crafted management API request.
CVE-2026-95140 2026-10-06 7.5 High
kkFileView v5.0.0 through v5.0.2 contains a directory traversal vulnerability in FileController.java. The fileUpload, createFolder and existsFile endpoints accept a "path" parameter that is concatenated into the upload base path without validation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary directories and write arbitrary files outside the intended fileDir root via a crafted multipart request
