| CVE-2026-34755 | 2 Vllm, Vllm-project | 2 Vllm, Vllm | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.7.0 to before 0.19.0, the VideoMediaIO.load_base64() method at vllm/multimodal/media/video.py splits video/jpeg data URLs by comma to extract individual JPEG frames, but does not enforce a frame count limit. The num_frames parameter (default: 32), which is enforced by the load_bytes() code path, is completely bypassed in the video/jpeg base64 path. An attacker can send a single API request containing thousands of comma-separated base64-encoded JPEG frames, causing the server to decode all frames into memory and crash with OOM. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55241 | 1 Bluewave-labs | 1 Checkmate | 2026-08-25 | 7.5 High |
| Checkmate is an open-source, self-hosted tool designed to track and monitor server hardware, uptime, response times, and incidents in real-time with beautiful visualizations. Prior to 3.9.1, the public POST /api/v1/auth/register route in server/src/api/routes/authRoutes.ts passes multipart profileImage uploads through in-memory Multer parsing before registration validation, without file-size, file-count, or MIME-type limits in server/src/api/middleware/upload.ts. An unauthenticated attacker can submit concurrent oversized files that are buffered before invalid registration or invite-token checks reject the request, exhausting memory and crashing or destabilizing the backend. This issue is fixed in version 3.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74713 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-25 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vhost_iotlb: bound map allocation in add_range vhost_iotlb_add_range_ctx() only retires an old entry when the table has a non-zero limit, has exactly reached that limit and has VHOST_IOTLB_FLAG_RETIRE set. Non-retiring tables can keep allocating entries after reaching their configured limit. Existing vhost devices allocate their IOTLB with max_iotlb_entries from vhost.c, which defaults to 2048 and is tunable by module parameter. Use the caller-provided limit at the allocation point instead of adding a separate default in the common IOTLB helper, and reject non-positive values in vhost paths that can report an error. Other vhost IOTLB users should not create zero-limit tables when entries can be populated from userspace or guest-controlled requests. Add caller-side max_iotlb_entries parameters for mlx5 vDPA, VDUSE and vhost-vDPA. Reject non-positive VDUSE and vhost-vDPA values, and require at least two entries for vdpa_sim and mlx5 vDPA paths that install full-range mappings, since those mappings are split into two IOTLB entries. Handle full-range mappings in the common helper by checking that the IOTLB can hold both split entries before inserting the first half. This avoids returning an error after leaving a half mapping behind. When the table is full, keep the existing retire behavior for retiring tables and return -ENOSPC for non-retiring tables. Reuse the retired map node instead of freeing it and allocating a replacement, so a stream of IOTLB updates cannot keep forcing GFP_ATOMIC allocations after the table has reached its limit. If a zero-limit IOTLB still reaches the common helper, treat it as a configuration error and return -EINVAL. I found this bug myself, though the patch was written with AI assistance. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44253 | 1 Wazuh | 1 Wazuh | 2026-08-25 | 4.9 Medium |
| Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 3.9.0 until 4.14.5 and 5.0.0-beta2, the Wazuh cluster protocol in framework/wazuh/core/cluster/common.py allows an authenticated cluster node to exhaust memory on the master. The receive_str() method accepts an attacker-controlled total for InBuffer without a maximum, so a new_str command can request a multi-gigabyte bytearray and repeated requests accumulate in in_str. The divided-message path also retains flag_divided fragments under unique counters in div_msg_box without a count, aggregate-size, or expiration limit. Exploitation can disrupt agent connectivity and alert processing across the monitored environment. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.5 and 5.0.0-beta2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76098 | 1 Lepture | 1 Mistune | 2026-08-24 | 7.5 High |
| Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Versions 3.3.0 through 3.3.2 are vulnerable to DoS through deeply nested tokens. HTML rendering creates deeply nested emphasis tokens from consecutive asterisk characters, and recursive rendering in HTMLRenderer.render_token() can exceed Python's recursion limit and raise RecursionError, allowing crafted Markdown to crash a parsing process. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.3 | ||||
| CVE-2026-78321 | 1 Dji | 15 Air 3, Air 3s, Dji Avata 2 and 12 more | 2026-08-24 | N/A |
| The HTTP media server on DJI drones does not enforce sufficient limits on incoming connections or request rates. An attacker with access to the drone's internal network can exhaust the server's connection pool by repeatedly requesting a stored media file, preventing the server from handling legitimate requests and causing a denial of service that prevents the DJI Fly application from retrieving photos and videos from the aircraft in QuickTransfer mode. Affected models are DJI Neo until 01.00.0400, DJI Neo 2 until 01.00.0500, DJI Flip until 01.00.1200, DJI Air 3 until 01.00.1600, DJI Air 3S until 01.00.1400, DJI Avata 2 until 01.00.0400, DJI Avata 360 until 01.00.0300, DJI Mavic 3 until 01.00.1400, DJI Mavic 3 Classic until 01.00.0800, DJI Mavic 3 Pro until 01.01.0700, DJI Mavic 4 Pro until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 2 until 01.07.0200, DJI Mini 3 until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 3 Pro until 01.00.0900, DJI Mini 4 Pro until 01.00.1100, and DJI Mini 5 Pro until 01.00.0600. Remediation requires a firmware update from the vendor. | ||||

| CVE-2026-73198 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-24 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in the `/ipa/i18n_messages` endpoint by sending an arbitrarily large request body. This can cause the service to consume excessive memory, leading to memory exhaustion, degraded responsiveness, and a denial of service (DoS) condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73196 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-24 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A low-privilege authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting an oversized One-Time Password (OTP) key value. This oversized key is then decoded and re-encoded without proper size limits, consuming excessive CPU and memory resources. This can lead to a denial of service, degrading the availability of the IPA service. | ||||

| CVE-2026-72465 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-22 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xprtrdma: Sanitize the reply credit grant after parsing The out_norqst exit in rpcrdma_reply_handler() branches away before the credit clamp, so a reply that matches no pending request reaches out_post carrying the raw credit value parsed from the wire. rpcrdma_post_recvs() does not bound its @needed argument: the refill loop allocates and chains Receive WRs until the count is satisfied or allocation fails. A peer that sends a well-formed reply carrying an unknown XID and an inflated credit grant therefore drives rep allocation and Receive posting past re_max_requests on every such reply. Move the clamp to immediately after the credit field is parsed, ahead of the first branch that can reach out_post, so every later consumer sees a sanitized value. The cwnd update stays on the matched-request path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-72495 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-22 | 9.3 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/bnxt_re: Avoid repeated requests to allocate WC pages Applications can request multiple WC pages for the same ucontext. As of now, only 1 WC page per ucontext is supported. Add a lock to avoid concurrent access and a check to fail repeated requests. Also, if the mmap entry insert fails for the WC, free the Doorbell page index mapped for the WC page. | ||||
| CVE-2026-49870 | 1 Grokability | 1 Snipe-it | 2026-08-21 | 5.9 Medium |
| Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.6.1, POST /two-factor has no rate limiting, lockout, or attempt counter, allowing an attacker with valid credentials to submit unlimited TOTP guesses against the three accepted codes created by config/google2fa.php window=1. A successful guess creates a fully authenticated session. When two_factor_enabled is 1, POST /account/profile with two_factor_optin=0 can disable two-factor authentication without OTP reverification, while required mode 2 prevents that opt-out. An administrator can also use POST /api/v1/users/two_factor_reset to clear another user's secret. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50142 | 1 Struktur | 1 Libheif | 2026-08-21 | 7.5 High |
| libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. From 1.19.0 until 1.23.0, a crafted HEIF sequence accepted by heif_context_read_from_memory() with the msf1 sequence brand can cause unbounded heap allocation. In libheif/sequences/seq_boxes.cc, Box_stsz::parse() applies max_sequence_frames only to variable-size samples, so fixed-size mode accepts an attacker-controlled sample_count without a bound. In libheif/sequences/track.cc, Track::load() also adds current_sample_idx and samples_per_chunk in 32-bit arithmetic, allowing the consistency check to be bypassed by wraparound. The resulting values reach the Chunk::Chunk() allocation path, which can consume gigabytes of memory and crash or stall the process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74836 | 1 Mtrudel | 1 Bandit | 2026-08-21 | N/A |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin an unbounded number of HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via connection-level flow control. When a stream's response body outruns the HTTP/2 connection-level send window (default 65,535 bytes, shared across all streams on the connection), Bandit.HTTP2.Connection queues the remaining bytes and a reply closure in pending_sends and the stream process blocks forever inside a synchronous call to the connection process. Nothing bounds that wait and nothing purges the queue: a client RST_STREAM for the blocked stream is delivered to its mailbox but never read while it is stuck inside the call, so cancelling frees nothing, and periodic PING frames keep the transport-level read timeout from ever firing. The equivalent block on the stream-level send window is already bounded at 15 seconds; the connection-level path had no such bound. Each stalled stream pins its process, Plug state, and any resource the Plug holds across the blocked write, such as a pooled upstream connection in a reverse-proxy Plug. The attacker chooses any endpoint whose response exceeds the connection window (common for most non-trivial payloads), grants a generous stream-level window so only the connection window limits it, and keeps the connection alive with periodic PINGs; the primitive is repeatable across streams and connections at the cost of one idle socket each. This issue affects bandit: from 0.3.4 before 1.12.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-61712 | 1 Moby | 1 Buildkit | 2026-08-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Prior to 0.31.1, BuildKit read attacker-controlled /etc/passwd and /etc/group files without an upper bound while resolving a username to a user identifier or group identifier in executor/oci/user.go and solver/llbsolver/ops/user_linux.go. A malicious base image or build could provide oversized files that exhausted memory during user resolution and caused out-of-memory termination of the buildkitd process. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74542 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix folio_queue ENOMEM in writeback by adding a mempool Fix the handling of folio_queue allocation failure in writeback by adding a mempool and passing in gfp_t flags to the rolling buffer functions that allocate memory, using the mempool if gfp != GFP_KERNEL. This is then extended upwards and the gfp to be used for a request is stored in the netfs_io_request struct and is then used for both requests and subrequests, eliminating the sleeping loops there. The failure caused: folio != NULL WARNING: fs/netfs/write_issue.c:603 at netfs_writepages+0x883/0xa10 fs/netfs/write_issue.c:603, CPU#3: syz.0.17/5919 | ||||
| CVE-2026-75956 | 1 Cmsjunkie.com | 1 J-businessdirectory Extension For Joomla | 2026-08-21 | N/A |
| Joomla Extension - cmsjunkie.com - DOS vector in pagination parameter handling in J-BusinessDirectory < 6.2.3 - Pagination values were not strictly typed. Array/non-numeric values (for example limitstart[]) could trigger PHP type errors in arithmetic, and limit was not validated before use in list queries. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42570 | 1 Svelte | 1 Devalue | 2026-08-21 | 7.5 High |
| Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. From version 5.6.3 to before version 5.8.1, devalue.parse could, due to quirks in some JavaScript engines, be convinced to allocate much more memory than was needed when deserializing sparse arrays, leading to excessive memory consumption. This issue has been patched in version 5.8.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75140 | 1 Jhy | 1 Jsoup | 2026-08-21 | 7.5 High |
| jsoup through 1.23.2, fixed in commit 862ba2f, contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in XmlTreeBuilder that allows remote attackers to exhaust JVM heap memory by supplying a deeply nested XML document with uniquely-namespaced elements. The builder copies the entire inherited namespace map on every start element, causing quadratic time and memory complexity, which attackers can exploit to trigger an OutOfMemoryError and terminate the application. | ||||
