CVE-2026-84232 1 Redhat 5 Ansible Automation Platform, Rhui, Satellite and 2 more 2026-09-03 5.4 Medium
A flaw was found in pulpcore's content serving application. Files uploaded to Pulp file-type repositories are served with their original content type (e.g., text/html for .html files, image/svg+xml for .svg files) and without a Content-Disposition: attachment header when using local filesystem storage. An authenticated user or attacker with content upload permissions can upload a specially crafted HTML or SVG file containing JavaScript, which executes in the browser of any user who visits the file URL, resulting in stored cross-site scripting (XSS) in the context of the host application.
CVE-2026-49329 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-09-03 7.5 High
A flaw was found in openshift/oauth-server. The OAuth login and error page endpoints pass the unauthenticated Accept-Language header to golang.org/x/text/language.ParseAcceptLanguage() without input validation. A bypass of the CVE-2022-32149 mitigation exists: the upstream guard counts only '-' characters but the internal BCP 47 scanner aliases '_' to '-' after the guard check. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted Accept-Language header using '_' separators to trigger quadratic-time parsing, consuming excessive CPU and denying authentication to all cluster users.
CVE-2026-78409 2 Linux, Redhat 6 Util-linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more 2026-09-03 7 High
The X-mount.subdir option uses a detached-tree fast path on Linux 6.15 and later and passes the configured subdirectory to open_tree() with AT_SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW. That flag does not stop intermediate symlink traversal or keep resolution inside the newly mounted filesystem. A local unprivileged user with an fstab-authorized X-mount.subdir entry can attach a host path at the intended mountpoint.
CVE-2026-84837 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird 2026-09-03 7.8 High
A flaw was found in rpm. An attacker can exploit a command injection vulnerability by influencing the path or filename of a tarball processed by `rpmbuild -t*` to include shell metacharacters. This is particularly relevant in automated build or continuous integration (CI) workflows that ingest externally supplied artifact names. Successful exploitation allows for arbitrary command execution with the privileges of the build user, which could lead to information disclosure or disruption of the build environment.
CVE-2026-84838 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird 2026-09-03 7.8 High
A flaw was found in rpmuncompress. This command injection vulnerability allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary commands. This occurs when rpmuncompress processes a specially crafted archive filename containing shell metacharacters, which are not properly escaped before being passed to shell command strings. Successful exploitation requires user interaction, where a user or automated workflow invokes rpmuncompress on the malicious file, leading to high impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data accessible to the invoking user.
CVE-2026-82968 1 Redhat 4 Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak, Red Hat Single Sign On and 1 more 2026-09-03 6.4 Medium
A flaw was found in the first-broker-login flow of the Keycloak identity management service. When a user links a social identity provider account to their local account, the verification proof generated is not strictly bound to the specific upstream identity being verified. This allows an attacker with a different account on the same social provider to intercept the process and link their own account to the victim's local profile, gaining unauthorized access.
CVE-2026-42013 2 Gnu, Redhat 15 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 12 more 2026-09-03 8.2 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. When validating certificates, an oversized Subject Alternative Name (SAN) could cause the validation process to incorrectly fall back to checking the Common Name (CN) field. This could allow a remote attacker to bypass proper certificate validation, potentially leading to spoofing or man-in-the-middle attacks.
CVE-2026-42011 1 Redhat 14 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 11 more 2026-09-03 7.4 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. This vulnerability occurs because permitted name constraints were incorrectly ignored when previous Certificate Authorities (CAs) only had excluded name constraints. A remote attacker could exploit this to bypass critical name constraint checks during certificate validation. This bypass could lead to the acceptance of invalid certificates, potentially enabling spoofing or man-in-the-middle attacks against affected systems.
CVE-2026-14476 2 Redhat, Sssd 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-09-03 8 High
A path traversal flaw was found in SSSD's AD GPO provider. The ad_gpo_extract_smb_components() function does not sanitize .. sequences in the gPCFileSysPath LDAP attribute, allowing an attacker with AD GPO management access to write files outside the GPO cache directory as root. On default RHEL configurations with SELinux enforcing, this can be used to inject Kerberos configuration leading to authentication bypass.
CVE-2026-5260 2 Gnu, Redhat 14 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 11 more 2026-09-03 8.2 High
A flaw was found in libgnutls. A remote attacker, by sending an extremely short premaster secret during an RSA key exchange to a server using an RSA key backed by a PKCS#11 token, could trigger a short heap overread. This memory corruption vulnerability could lead to information disclosure.
CVE-2026-50237 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-09-03 7.4 High
A Server-Side Request Forgery and supply chain flaw was found in the OpenShift Console Helm catalog proxy. A namespace tenant can plant a ProjectHelmChartRepository with an arbitrary URL that the console pod fetches server-side, bypassing tenant egress restrictions. Combined with catalog metadata poisoning and admin-mediated chart installation, this enables privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-50236 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-09-03 7.4 High
An authenticated SSRF flaw was found in the OpenShift Console Dev Console webhook helpers. User-supplied target URLs are fetched server-side without validation, with path neutralization enabling arbitrary endpoint targeting and full response reflection from the console pod's privileged network position.
CVE-2026-49332 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-09-03 8.5 High
A flaw was found in openshift/oauth-proxy. The proxy sets authenticated identity headers using only dash-variant keys (X-Forwarded-User) but does not strip underscore-variant keys (X_Forwarded_User) from incoming requests. WSGI and PHP frameworks normalize both variants to the same variable, allowing an authenticated low-privilege user to smuggle a forged identity that may override the legitimate authenticated identity in the upstream application.
CVE-2026-14474 1 Redhat 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 6 more 2026-09-03 8.8 High
A flaw was found in SSSD's LDAP sudo provider. When the ldap_sudo_search_base option is not explicitly configured, SSSD searches the entire LDAP directory tree for sudoRole objects. An authenticated attacker with write access to any subtree can inject a sudoRole object granting root-level sudo privileges on all SSSD-enrolled hosts.
CVE-2026-4878 2 Libcap Project, Redhat 18 Libcap, Ai Inference Server, Cost Management and 15 more 2026-09-03 6.7 Medium
A flaw was found in libcap. A local unprivileged user can exploit a Time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the `cap_set_file()` function. This allows an attacker with write access to a parent directory to redirect file capability updates to an attacker-controlled file. By doing so, capabilities can be injected into or stripped from unintended executables, leading to privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-66788 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes 2026-09-03 3.7 Low
A flaw was found in Lighthouse. A remote attacker, by compromising a spoke cluster, can exploit a vulnerability where the destination namespace for resource injection is derived from an attacker-controlled label or annotation on the broker object. This allows the attacker to inject unauthorized EndpointSlices and ServiceImports into any namespace on peer clusters, including critical system namespaces like kube-system and openshift-*. This could lead to privilege escalation or other forms of system compromise within the cluster.
CVE-2026-66787 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes 2026-09-03 5.4 Medium
A flaw was found in the lighthouse component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of advertised IP addresses within EndpointSlice objects. A compromised spoke cluster can exploit this by creating EndpointSlices with attacker-controlled IP addresses, causing other clusters' lighthouse DNS to redirect legitimate service traffic to malicious endpoints. This enables a remote attacker to conduct transparent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on cross-cluster service communications, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation.
CVE-2026-66785 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes 2026-09-03 2.5 Low
A flaw was found in Submariner. This vulnerability allows a malicious cluster (spoke) to redirect network traffic from other connected clusters (peer clusters) by publishing a specially crafted network endpoint. The system fails to properly validate the network subnets provided by the malicious cluster, enabling it to declare arbitrary network ranges. Consequently, all network traffic intended for these arbitrary ranges from peer clusters will be rerouted through the attacker's tunnel, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure or network disruption.
CVE-2026-66783 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes 2026-09-03 4.4 Medium
A flaw was found in the `submariner-operator` component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability allows a cluster administrator, or any user with permissions to modify the Submariner Custom Resource (CR), to specify an unvalidated image path. This lack of validation enables an attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges across the entire cluster, including control-plane nodes, by deploying a malicious image.
CVE-2026-66782 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes 2026-09-03 5.8 Medium
A flaw was found in the Submariner operator. This vulnerability allows for the exposure of a long-lived broker service account (SA) bearer token within the Submariner Custom Resource (CR) specification. An attacker with access to the cluster's etcd database or through `kubectl get` commands could obtain this token. The possession of this token grants full control over the mesh network, enabling unauthorized management of network resources such as endpoints and secrets.
