CVSS v3.1 |
Nortek Linear eMerge E3-Series 0.32-08f, 0.32-07p, 0.32-07e, 0.32-09c, 0.32-09b, 0.32-09a, and 0.32-08e were discovered to contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability which is chained with a local session fixation. This vulnerability allows attackers to escalate privileges via unspecified vectors.
Honeywell NVR devices allow remote attackers to create a user account in the admin group by leveraging access to a guest account to obtain a session ID, and then sending that session ID in a userManager.addUser request to the /RPC2 URI. The attacker can login to the device with that new user account to fully control the device.
An issue was discovered in Mahara before 15.04.14, 16.x before 16.04.8, 16.10.x before 16.10.5, and 17.x before 17.04.3. When one closes the browser without logging out of Mahara, the value in the usr_session table is not removed. If someone were to open a browser, visit the Mahara site, and adjust the 'mahara' cookie to the old value, they can get access to the user's account.
Vulnerability in the Java SE, Java SE Embedded, JRockit component of Oracle Java SE (subcomponent: JCE). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 6u151, 7u141 and 8u131; Java SE Embedded: 8u131; JRockit: R28.3.14. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Java SE, Java SE Embedded, JRockit. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Java SE, Java SE Embedded, JRockit accessible data. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited through sandboxed Java Web Start applications and sandboxed Java applets. It can also be exploited by supplying data to APIs in the specified Component without using sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, such as through a web service. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 5.9 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N).

Mahara 15.04 before 15.04.7 and 15.10 before 15.10.3 are vulnerable to prevent session IDs from being regenerated on login or logout. This makes users of the site more vulnerable to session fixation attacks.
/bin/login.php in the Web Panel on the Airtame HDMI dongle with firmware before 3.0 allows an attacker to set his own session id via a "Cookie: PHPSESSID=" header. This can be used to achieve persistent access to the admin panel even after an admin password change.
IBM AppScan Enterprise Edition 9.0 contains an unspecified vulnerability that could allow an attacker to hijack a valid user's session. IBM X-Force ID: 120257
A bug in the error handling of the send file code for the NIO HTTP connector in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M13, 8.5.0 to 8.5.8, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.39, 7.0.0 to 7.0.73 and 6.0.16 to 6.0.48 resulted in the current Processor object being added to the Processor cache multiple times. This in turn meant that the same Processor could be used for concurrent requests. Sharing a Processor can result in information leakage between requests including, not not limited to, session ID and the response body. The bug was first noticed in 8.5.x onwards where it appears the refactoring of the Connector code for 8.5.x onwards made it more likely that the bug was observed. Initially it was thought that the 8.5.x refactoring introduced the bug but further investigation has shown that the bug is present in all currently supported Tomcat versions.
Session fixation vulnerability in Unit4 Polska TETA Web (formerly TETA Galactica) 22.62.3.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to hijack web sessions via a session id.
389 Directory Server in Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop 6 through 7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux HPC Node 6 through 7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 through 7, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 6 through 7 allows remote attackers to obtain user passwords.
The ReadPSDLayers function in coders/psd.c in ImageMagick 6.8.9.9 allows remote attackers to have unspecified impact via unknown vectors, related to "throwing of exceptions."
ImageMagick allows remote attackers to have unspecified impact via vectors related to error handling in sun files.
Session fixation vulnerability in D-Link DIR-600L routers (rev. Ax) with firmware before FW1.17.B01 allows remote attackers to hijack web sessions via unspecified vectors.
ubuntu-image 1.0 before 2017-07-07, when invoked as non-root, creates files in the resulting image with the uid of the invoking user. When the resulting image is booted, a local attacker with the same uid as the image creator has unintended access to cloud-init and snapd directories.
FreeIPA 4.x with API version 2.213 allows a remote authenticated users to bypass intended account-locking restrictions via an unlock action with an old session ID (for the same user account) that had been created for an earlier session. NOTE: Vendor states that issue does not exist in product and does not recognize this report as a valid security concern
IBM Financial Transaction Manager 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 does not properly update the SESSIONID with each request, which could allow a user to obtain the ID in further attacks against the system. IBM X-Force ID: 122293.
A Session Fixation Vulnerability exists in the MT4 Networks SenhaSegura Web Application 2.2.23.8 via login_if.php.
An issue was discovered in Honeywell XL Web II controller XL1000C500 XLWebExe-2-01-00 and prior, and XLWeb 500 XLWebExe-1-02-08 and prior. An attacker can establish a new user session, without invalidating any existing session identifier, which gives the opportunity to steal authenticated sessions (SESSION FIXATION).
