CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/mempolicy: fix sleeping allocation in alloc_pages_bulk_weighted_interleave()
syzbot reported a sleeping function called from invalid context splat in
bucket_table_alloc().
When rhashtable_insert_slow() rehashes the table under rcu_read_lock(), it
calls bucket_table_alloc(..., GFP_ATOMIC | __GFP_NOWARN). If the bucket
table allocation uses vmalloc, __vmalloc_node_range_noprof() invokes
vm_area_alloc_pages() -> alloc_pages_bulk_mempolicy_noprof() with the
passed GFP_ATOMIC flags.
If the current task has an MPOL_WEIGHTED_INTERLEAVE mempolicy,
alloc_pages_bulk_weighted_interleave() is called and currently hardcodes
GFP_KERNEL when allocating the temporary weights array, triggering a
might_alloc() splat in atomic/RCU contexts.
Pass the gfp flags (masked with GFP_RECLAIM_MASK to strip page-allocator
zone modifiers like __GFP_HIGHMEM) received by
alloc_pages_bulk_weighted_interleave() to kmalloc() instead of hardcoding
GFP_KERNEL. Since the weights buffer is immediately initialized in full,
kmalloc() is sufficient. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in marcopiovanello yt-dlp-web-ui up to v4. This issue affects the function NewGenericDownload of the file server/internal/downloaders/generic.go. Such manipulation of the argument params leads to command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The name of the patch is c7ad3bd79c7c520a7d17e7f2ba19d962be8e7897. A patch should be applied to remediate this issue. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements in output used by a downstream component ('injection') in Azure Cosmos DB allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Injection in Chrome Tabs in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to potentially bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Jenkins Gradle Plugin 2.19.1252.v15196b_5a_6e10 and earlier requests build scan data from the build scan link detected in the build log, even when a Develocity server URL is configured in the global configuration, allowing attackers able to control the build log to capture the Develocity access key configured in the global configuration by having Jenkins connect to an attacker-specified URL. |
| A vulnerability has been found in code-projects Matrimonial System 1.0. This vulnerability affects the function writepartnerprefs of the file /partner_preference.php. Such manipulation of the argument education leads to sql injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| canto-saas-api is a PHP library for interacting with the Canto SaaS API. Prior to version 3.0.0, Request::buildRequestUrl() joins values returned by Request::getPathVariables() without encoding individual path segments, including the scheme and contentId values used by GetContentDetailsRequest. When a consuming application supplies an untrusted path variable value, path traversal sequences, query delimiters, or fragment delimiters can change the destination endpoint before AbstractEndpoint::sendRequest() attaches the configured authentication token. An attacker who controls that path variable value through the consuming application can cause unintended reads or writes with the configured application's privileges on the same Canto instance, but applications that pass only trusted and validated identifiers are not exploitable. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0. |
| Nuxt OG Image generates OG Images with Vue templates in Nuxt. From 6.0.2 until 6.7.0, nuxt-og-image exposes the unauthenticated /_og/d/** route when the documented defaults security.strict = false and security.secret = "" are used, and base64url-decodes the fonts parameter through decodeOgImageParams. Attacker-controlled fonts[].path values flow through loadDefinedFonts into the font-assets/node.js binding, which performs a server-side fetch without validating the URL scheme, origin, resolved address, or redirects. This permits blind requests to loopback, private, link-local, cloud metadata, and other internal HTTP services, while differences in the outer response status and timing can reveal service reachability. Slow targets can also occupy OG image render workers for the configured fetch and render timeouts. This issue is fixed in version 6.7.0. |
| OpenTelemetry, also known as OTel, is a vendor-neutral open source Observability framework for instrumenting, generating, collecting, and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. Prior to 0.154.0, the Sentry exporter reads the remote OTLP sender-controlled service.name resource attribute in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_exporter.go through extractProjectSlug and getOrCreateProjectEndpoint, passes the raw project slug to GetOTLPEndpoints and GetProjectKeys in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_client.go, and interpolates it into a Sentry API URL without applying projectSlugRegexp through validateRoutingConfig at runtime in exporter/sentryexporter/config.go. Special characters can turn the expected path suffix into query data in all deployments or introduce slash and dot segments that traverse paths when the Sentry deployment normalizes them, while the Collector attaches its operator-configured bearer token to the request. A successful request can reach token-authorized administrative, organization, member, or key endpoints within the configured Sentry organization, and an attacker-controlled project slug can redirect subsequently exported telemetry. Sentry token middleware prevents cross-organization access. This issue is fixed in version 0.154.0. |
| MISP contains a vulnerability in its background job dispatch mechanism that allows remote code execution as the web user. Background job arguments are passed directly as the argv of the CakePHP console process. CakePHP's ShellDispatcher::_parsePaths() scans the entire argv for path switches (-app, --app, -working, --working, -root, --root, -webroot, --webroot) and uses the following element as the application root. The events/contact endpoint passes user-controlled fields (message and person) into job arguments without validation. An attacker who can submit the contact form can set the person field to a reserved switch (e.g., -app) and the message field to a phar:// URI pointing to a malicious archive. The CakePHP bootstrap then includes Config/core.php from within that archive, executing attacker-controlled PHP code with the privileges of the web user. The vulnerability requires the ability to submit the events/contact form (or any other endpoint that forwards user input into background job arguments). No special timing or race condition is required; the attack is deterministic once the crafted parameters are accepted. The impact is full remote code execution in the context of the MISP web server process, allowing data exfiltration, persistence, and lateral movement within the host. |
| A missing input-validation issue in MongoDB libmongocrypt's automatic-encryption context setup allows a caller-supplied database identifier to be accepted without sanitization. The resulting impact is limited to incorrect schema selection, which may lead to limited disclosure or modification of information handled by the application. |
| Exposed Dangerous Method or Function in ASUSÂ Armoury Crate allow a local user to cause a brief system stall by bypassing driver authentication and sending requests to trigger system management interrupts (SMIs). Repeatedly triggering SMI may lead to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition.Refer to the '
Security Update for Armoury Crate App ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
