CVSS v3.1 |
| Dell SmartFabric Manager, versions prior to 2.2.1, contains an Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges. |
| libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. From 8.0.0 until 12.0.24, @libp2p/peer-store in packages/peer-store/src/index.ts uses consumePeerRecord to verify a RecordEnvelope signature but does not require PeerRecord.peerId in the signed payload to equal the signer peer ID derived by RecordEnvelope.openAndCertify. The expectedPeer option checks only the envelope signer, and the gossipsub Peer Exchange path can provide the attacker's own peer ID as expectedPeer. An attacker can therefore sign a record with the attacker's key, place a victim peer ID and attacker-controlled multiaddrs in the payload, and have certified addresses stored for the victim. The poisoned addresses can cause address-book corruption, dial redirection or failure, routing manipulation, and reachability disruption, although the connection upgrade still verifies remote peer identity and prevents a complete identity takeover. The issue is fixed in version 12.0.24. |
| libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. From 15.0.0 until 16.0.5, @libp2p/gossipsub uses the default StrictSign policy in packages/gossipsub/src/utils/buildRawMessage.ts, where validateToRawMessage verifies a signature with attacker-controlled msg.key but skips binding that key to msg.from when the claimed author is an RSA peer ID that does not inline a public key. An unauthenticated attacker can place a victim RSA peer ID in msg.from, sign the message with the attacker's private key, and supply the attacker's public key in msg.key, causing the message to be accepted and propagated as authored by the victim. Applications that trust message.from for validators, authorization, accounting, moderation, reputation, or audit logging can process attacker-controlled data under false origin attribution. The issue is fixed in version 16.0.5. |
| djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, for views that opt into state snapshots, the snapshot `state_json` embedded in the client page was restored on reconnect as trusted view state with no integrity check. A client could edit the unsigned `state_json` in their page and return it in the reconnect mount frame to inject arbitrary view attributes — e.g. flip `is_admin` to `True`, or change `account_id` / `balance` — escalating privilege or tampering with business state held in public view attributes (the normal djust pattern). This issue is fixed in djust 1.0.7. State snapshots are signed; unsigned or forged snapshots are rejected on the back-navigation restore path. As a workaround, do not enable state snapshots; do not hold authorization/ownership state in public view attributes. |
| The Robokassa payment gateway for Woocommerce WordPress plugin before 1.8.9 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications when its non-default deferred-payment feature is enabled, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a notification and mark arbitrary WooCommerce orders as paid or on-hold without payment or a valid signature. |
| The Formidable Forms WordPress plugin before 6.35 does not restrict who can set the identifier recording which user last edited a form entry, and relies on that identifier when deciding whether to strip HTML from stored entry values, allowing unauthenticated visitors to have markup rendered in the admin entry view that would otherwise be removed, and to attribute their submission to an administrator who never made it. |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s certificate auto-enrollment Group Policy handling. When certificate auto-enrollment is enabled, Samba may retrieve a CA certificate over an unencrypted HTTP connection and install it into the local trust store without proper verification. An attacker with the ability to intercept or redirect network traffic could exploit this behavior to supply a malicious certificate authority certificate, potentially allowing interception or spoofing of trusted communications. |
| Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity vulnerability in WP ManageNinja LLC FluentAuth allows Identity Spoofing.
This issue affects FluentAuth: from n/a through 2.1.2. |
| An inapplicable NSEC record may be accepted by a `named` resolver as proof that no wildcard exists, which could allow an attacker at the same or an upstream level of the zone name to mask the existence of a victim's wildcard record.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.21.0 through 9.21.25, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1. |
| The OAuth authorization endpoint in Jenkins Bitbucket Server Integration Plugin 6.0.1 and earlier reads the `oauth_callback` URL from the submitted form rather than from the server-side stored request token, allowing attackers to hijack the OAuth flow and obtain an access token on behalf of the victim. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) relay configured, an unauthenticated attacker with network access could send a crafted DHCP reply packet from an IP address that is not configured as a helper address, and the relay agent would forward it to clients without validating the source. This could allow the attacker to supply clients with malicious network configuration parameters, potentially resulting in traffic interception or denial of service for affected clients. |
| The Eventin WordPress plugin before 4.1.24 does not verify that a completed payment corresponds to the order it is applied to, confirming only that the payment gateway reports the transaction as successful, not its amount, currency, or which order it belongs to, allowing unauthenticated visitors to mark unpaid orders of any value as paid by replaying the transaction of a single genuine low-value payment. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Open Shortest Path First version 2 (OSPFv2) configured, a specially crafted OSPFv2 packet from an unauthenticated attacker on the same broadcast segment, with OSPFv2 authentication configured can cause adjacency flapping and packet loss. The disruption can affect routing across the broader OSPF domain. |
| RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol. Prior to 2.0.0, the rmcp crate's OAuth implementation in crates/rmcp/src/transport/auth.rs omits the RFC 9728 resource field from ResourceServerMetadata and allows discover_oauth_server_via_resource_metadata to use protected-resource metadata without confirming that the returned resource identifier exactly matches the configured MCP server. A malicious MCP server can publish metadata for a different legitimate MCP resource and its authorization server, causing a victim who connects and completes the authorization flow to obtain a legitimate access token that the client subsequently sends to the malicious server. The attacker can capture the token and impersonate the victim against the legitimate MCP resource within the token's granted scopes. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0. |
| In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.13.2 up to and including 1.26.1, a vulnerability in ZONEMD configured zones (zonemd-check: yes) which are located below (but not at) a trust anchor allow for an attack window where (tampered with) zone contents are served (or stored to disk) prior to the ZONEMD integrity check. This is caused by the needed DS/DNSKEY asynchronous resolution that needs to happen before the ZONEMD check completes. If a zonefile is written to disk (zonefile: option) while the ZONEMD check failed, the tampered data are reloaded on startup and available until ZONEMD verification concludes again. If verification fails, the data is not served any more but still persists on disk for future reloads. |
| Nozomi Networks Labs identified a CWE-345: Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity vulnerability in the firmware upgrade mechanism of the Advantech EKI-1242EIMS in firmware version V1.06.01. The device accepts firmware images through the authenticated web management interface without performing any cryptographic signature or certificate verification. An authenticated administrator-level attacker can install arbitrary modified firmware on the device, enabling full persistent compromise of the platform. |
| A weakness has been identified in ag-ui-protocol ag-ui 1.0. The impacted element is the function prepareRunAgentInput of the file agent/agent.ts of the component Event Application Layer. This manipulation of the argument TEXT_MESSAGE_START causes origin validation error. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| Pipelines-as-Code is a CI/CD system that lets users define Tekton pipelines in source code repositories. Prior to 0.37.8, 0.39.6, 0.42.1, and 0.48.0, the GitHub App provider accepts X-GitHub-Enterprise-Host as the API host while processing webhook events containing an installation.id, before webhook signature validation or confirmation that the host matches the repository URL in the signed payload. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach the webhook endpoint can select an attacker-controlled host and cause the controller to send a locally signed GitHub App JWT to that service. The exposed JWT may be used to attempt to mint installation access tokens during its validity window, subject to the GitHub App installation and permissions. The incoming webhook installation-lookup path is also affected, but exploitation of that path requires the valid incoming webhook secret for the target Repository CR. This issue is fixed in versions 0.37.8, 0.39.6, 0.42.1, and 0.48.0. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with MLAG Dual Primary Detection configured, an unauthenticated attacker with access to the Dual Primary Detection network segment can send specially crafted packets to interfere with the dual-primary state. If the MLAG primary switch fails while these packets are present, the secondary switch incorrectly concludes it is in a dual-primary condition and err-disables its interfaces, leading to a traffic interruption. |
| undici's cache interceptor documents that only safe HTTP methods are cached, but its logic to skip caching is built by subtracting the configured methods from the set of safe methods, so an unsafe method such as POST, PUT, or DELETE is never placed in the skip list and instead falls through to the full cache-read path. The response-storage gate also lacked a method check, so a response to an unsafe request that is heuristically cacheable or carries an explicit Cache-Control directive is stored and later replayed from cache. Because response headers from a remote origin are untrusted, an origin can answer once with a cacheable status and then have the client's own subsequent state-changing requests to that path served from the stale cache entry without ever reaching the origin, an integrity failure that occurs under the interceptor's default configuration. This affects undici versions from 7.0.0 up to 7.29.1 and from 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 7.29.1 or 8.10.2. |
