CVSS v3.1 |
Improper privilege management in Permissions in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
Improper privilege management in CredentialProvider in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a local attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via physical access. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
In multiple locations, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to elevate privileges.
In multiple locations, there is a possible permission bypass due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In moveTaskToFrontLocked of ActivityTaskManagerService.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A weakness has been identified in EasySoft ZenTao PMS up to 22.6. This impacts the function userModel::checkGroupChange of the file module/user/model.php of the component User Module. This manipulation of the argument group causes improper privilege management. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Improper privilege management in Navigation in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
In Eclipse ThreadX versions 6.0.1 through 6.5.2.202603, the Module Manager lets a user-mode, memory-protected module post a forged callback request to another module's callback request queue. The receiving module's callback thread calls the function pointer in the request without checking that the Module Manager sent it, so the attacker's code runs with the receiving module's privilege; when that module runs in privileged mode, a user-mode module gains privileged execution.
This issue was addressed with improved permissions checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to break out of its sandbox.
GLPI 10.0.0 before 10.0.28 and 11.0.0 before 11.0.10 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated users to obtain elevated profiles by cloning accounts. A user with the Technician profile can clone a Super-Admin account with a new login and password, since User::getCloneRelations() copies every Profile_User and Group_User assignment without permission checks, yielding an attacker-controlled Super-Admin account.
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Cardo Systems Scala Rider Q3. Affected is the file /cardo/api of the Cardo-Updater. Unauthenticated remote code execution with root permissions is possible. Firewalling or disabling the service is recommended.
This issue was addressed by removing the vulnerable code. This issue is fixed in Safari 27.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, visionOS 27.2. A remote attacker may be able to break out of Web Content sandbox.
| A flaw was found in CRIU's handling of restartable sequences (rseq) during checkpoint/restore. A malicious process inside a container can register an rseq critical section that hijacks CRIU's parasite code injection during checkpoint, allowing it to spoof the process credentials saved in the checkpoint image. On restore, the container process gains elevated capabilities and zeroed UIDs/GIDs.
The practical impact on Red Hat products is limited by several factors: checkpoint/restore requires root privileges (podman) or cluster-admin RBAC (OpenShift) to trigger and cannot be initiated from within the container itself; on OpenShift prior to 4.17 the feature required explicit opt-in, and on 4.17+ the kubelet checkpoint API RBAC is not configured by default; OpenShift enforces user namespaces by default for regular workloads (hostUsers is gated behind admin-only SCCs), which makes the spoofed capabilities namespace-scoped and ineffective for privilege escalation; SELinux type enforcement (container_t) blocks privilege transitions independently of capabilities; seccomp filters persist through checkpoint/restore and cannot be corrupted via the parasite; and kernel mount namespace ownership checks on RHEL 9/10 kernels prevent mount-based container escape even with spoofed capabilities. |
In Eclipse ThreadX versions 6.0.1 through 6.5.2.202603, built with TX_ENABLE_EVENT_TRACE, the Module Manager lets a user-mode, memory-protected module register any function pointer as the kernel's trace-buffer-full callback, which the kernel calls from privileged code when the trace buffer wraps. A malicious module can thereby run its own code with kernel privilege, defeating module isolation, or fault the kernel with an invalid pointer.
In setOemUnlockAllowedByUser of OemLockService.java, there is a possible way to bypass FRP due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
The DT Directory Lite Addon WordPress plugin through 1.1 does not perform nonce or capability checks on its settings handlers, allowing unauthenticated attackers to modify the DT Directory Lite Addon WordPress plugin through 1.1's configuration and skin options.
Prefab UI's Generative UI sandbox runs caller-supplied Python inside Pyodide, Python compiled to WebAssembly, in a Deno subprocess. The feature is documented as isolation for untrusted code, including LLM-written UI. From prefab-ui 0.14.0 through 0.20.2 the launcher starts Deno with unrestricted --allow-read, --allow-write, and --allow-net, and the runner leaves the Deno API on the JavaScript global object. Pyodide's js module proxies that global, so the Python can call Deno.readTextFileSync and Deno.writeTextFileSync. A caller who can supply the code can read and write files as the server OS user, and can persist code execution by writing a .pth file into the server virtualenv's site-packages. The usual remote path is FastMCP's GenerativeUI provider, which registers the MCP tool generate_prefab_ui and forwards that tool's code argument into this sandbox. On a FastMCP server with no authentication configured, any client who can reach the server can call the tool. With authentication, any client allowed to call tools can. Generative UI is opt-in, and the host must have Deno installed. Confirmed on prefab-ui 0.20.2. Fixed in 0.21.0: after the runtime and Prefab sources load, the runner revokes Deno read, write, and network permission before it accepts code, the process is started with --no-prompt so a permission request cannot grant them again, and bootstrap network access is limited to cdn.jsdelivr.net. The fix is commit 030f074 (pull request 538).
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. A malicious app may be able to gain root privileges.
